Glee, NCIS, and The Good Wife

What to watch on Tuesday, May 3.

With THIS kind of overstuffed schedule, it's definitely business-as-usual on TV tonight. Because the TV schedule is a business, supplying smiles for the demand for good times. No wait, it's a university—Entertaining U. (I'll have to think about this some more.)

8pm, Fox
Glee
Tonight Sue Sylvester reboots both the school newspaper AND the concept of yellow journalism, plus the kids learn surprising details about Sam's home life (what, does he remain fully clothed while at home?) All that, plus another dose of Kristin Chenoweth!

8pm, CBS
NCIS
If you like Tony DiNozzo AND backstory, then tonight's your night: When his former partner gets murdered by the Port-to-Port killer, DiNozzo will be forced to reminisce about his stint in Baltimore and how he came to be a part of the NCIS team.

10pm, CBS
The Good Wife
Martha Plimpton is a national treasure. Fact. Hey look, she'll be on two shows tonight! As her usual hottie grandma on Raising Hope, PLUS tonight's episode of The Good Wife, where she'll play a rival attorney who suddenly needs Lockhart/Gardner to represent her. Plus, Alicia will attempt to stop her world from reeling after the bombshell of Peter's one-night-stand.

SEASON 2 FINALE, 11pm, MTV
My Life as Liz
In tonight's season finale of MTV's weird, charming, reality-fiction hybrid soap opera, college-student-in-the-big-city Liz Lee will get some important news from Louis, plus [*inarticulate mumbling*] Bryson has to deal with his own feelings for Liz.

SPECIAL, 11pm, Lifetime
Steel Divas
File Under: REASONS TO HAVE CABLE. Hey, be sure and check out this hour-long documentary about the world of female bodybuilders in Phoenix. I knew Phoenix was hot, but maybe it's TOO HOT?
