Glee, The Voice, and Raising Hope

What to watch on Tuesday, April 26.

Even though you very politely asked it not to, Monday hassled you like crazy. Hopefully today will treat you with the dignity and respect you deserve. Oh hey, check out what's on TV tonight:

8pm, Fox
Glee
It's ABOUT TIME the kids of McKinley High finally learned how to accept themselves! And Lady Gaga really is the Mother Teresa of weirdo millionaires. Tune in tonight for a special 90-minute Gaga-themed escapade which details Mr. Schuester's valuable lessons on self-acceptance, Lauren and Quinn's tussle over the prom queen title, and Santana's ongoing scheme to be the funniest thing on TV?

SERIES PREMIERE, 9pm, NBC
The Voice
Watch as Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Carson Daly join together, Voltron-style, to create TV's newest singing-competition behemoth. Word of caution: They aren't judges, just "coaches," plus they intend to be likeable pop stars afterward so you probably won't get any Simon Cowell-style criticisms. But if you enjoy American remakes of weird Dutch reality shows, The Voice is for you!

9:30pm, Fox
Raising Hope
Tonight Burt and Virginia (a.k.a. TV's sexiest grandparents) attempt to sleep-train Hope, plus Jimmy's new girlfriend makes him a beverage that messes him up BAD.

SEASON 2 FINALE, 10pm, History Channel
Top Shot
Season 2 of History Channel's most weirdly addictive reality competition comes to a close as we find out whether Brian, Chris, George or Joe will hit the $100,000 target.

10pm, Investigation Discovery
I (Almost) Got Away With It
The TITLE of this show is kind of a spoiler, but whatever: Tonight's episode follows the crime spree of 22-year-old Aurlieas McClarty, who gunned down a store manager and then spent years on the run counterfeiting money, robbing banks, committing other dastardly acts, and ALMOST getting away with it.

Why doesn't someone put a good show on Tuesday nights? Has every channel surrendered to the crapfest that is "Glee"? I guess I'll check out Norm's new show. Thank god "Justified" is back tomorrow as well as new "South Park" episodes.

Glee's 90-minute Gagfest? haha I actually read it as that.
The characters on Glee really need to grow some balls. It's been nearly two years and yet they haven't learned how to deal with image issues? You're never going to feel better by whining about it, you gotta go out and start taking control. Glee could be so much better if it wasn't so preachy-whiny all the time. Also less Gaga...

Nothing. I know I said this in like 3 of last weeks listings, but I think I may finally get around to catching up on The Borgias tonight, seeing as it got renewed for season 2 yesterday. I've still only watched the pilot. Plus I have an episode of Camelot to catch up on as well, so I might make tonight my catch-up night.
