Glee's Got a Bomer for Its New Guest Star (VIDEO)

Glee returns from winter hiatus on Tuesday, April 10 with none other than White Collar star Matt Bomer, whose official fan club counts our very own Price Peterson as a card-carrying member! Bomer tells Watch with Kristen that he plays “Cooper Anderson” (not to be confused with impossibly blue-eyed CNN anchor Anderson Cooper). Bomer's Cooper Anderson is the “outrageously confident” older brother of Blaine Anderson (Darren Criss), famous for starring as the spokesman for a credit-rating commercial. He gives the New Directions kids helpful acting pointers (“pointing and yelling lines is the best way to convey real emotion”).

Here’s a behind-the-scenes peek at Bomer’s visit to McKinley High, where you’ll see him and Criss dueting on Gotye’s folky hit, “Somebody That I Used to Know.” Bomer told TVLine that a casual conversation with show creator Ryan Murphy about this song was what led to his gig on the show.
