Glee's Got a Bomer for Its New Guest Star (VIDEO)

Glee returns from winter hiatus on Tuesday, April 10 with none other than White Collar star Matt Bomer, whose official fan club counts our very own Price Peterson as a card-carrying member! Bomer tells Watch with Kristen that he plays “Cooper Anderson” (not to be confused with impossibly blue-eyed CNN anchor Anderson Cooper). Bomer's Cooper Anderson is the “outrageously confident” older brother of Blaine Anderson (Darren Criss), famous for starring as the spokesman for a credit-rating commercial. He gives the New Directions kids helpful acting pointers (“pointing and yelling lines is the best way to convey real emotion”).

Here’s a behind-the-scenes peek at Bomer’s visit to McKinley High, where you’ll see him and Criss dueting on Gotye’s folky hit, “Somebody That I Used to Know.” Bomer told TVLine that a casual conversation with show creator Ryan Murphy about this song was what led to his gig on the show.

Matt Bomer is coming as a guest. I still think that the Finnchel wedding is too rushed and too hurried after Quinn's car accident!

I think It didn't happen, Quinn pressed send and they just sad there waiting for her, until a cop comes in and tells them what happened. Then Rachael thinking it was bad luck, post pone the wedding.

I can't wait. I suspect Bomer will overshadow the "shocking" cliffhanger. Can't say that I care though. Can't wait to see him! No one should be that pretty and that talented...it's a crime. If it isn't a crime it should be, and I think a citizen's arrest is in order if only I can find my blue fuzzy handcuffs.

I stopped watching Glee after S1, I just get so sick of the infinite amount of autotune they use that leaves everybody sounding like soulless robots, ugh.

But I'll watch this one just for Matt Bomer... *drool* (I don't care how much of a superficial typical fan-girl of sorts that makes me :P)

Also, agree with everyone else on the song, it is just so perfect, Glee should've left it alone...

psh, sounds like they didn't even do a good job at the Gotye cover. Kinda glad they didn't actually. They didn't even do it with a girl! psh

That is such an awesome song that no one else, esp not Darren cris, could do it justice

I dont know why but I find Darren cris annoying. He's just so sappy on screen, and it seems off screen as well. Its overwhelming. I just get sick of hearing about him. And seeing him.

I hate Glee but I love Matt, and this just makes me feel bad for him and that poor song. Regionals!

Glee's awesome! Matt's cool! (Love White Collar) I like the song a lot. What I heard from Glee was good. Walk off the Earth sings it better that Gotye.
