The controversial TV chef will open two new restaurants, maze and maze Grill, in Melbourne on March 29.
The F Word and Kitchen Nightmares star is entering the Australian restaurant industry by setting up shop in the culinary capital of Australia.
Located at the Crown Metropol hotel within the Crown Casino complex in Melbourne's South Bank entertainment precinct, the restaurants will follow the successful formula of their British counterparts.
Boasting a team led by chef de cuisine Josh Emett, restaurant director Randa Assi and head sommelier Lincoln Riley, the menus have been carefully crafted to feature Australia's finest seasonal ingredients.
From today, the restaurants will use Dimmi, Australia's first real-time online reservations service, exclusively for all bookings leading up to the official launch on Monday, March 29.
Dinner reservations will be available in both restaurants from 6pm nightly, with lunch bookings available on selected days from 12pm-2.30pm. The system allows diners to book for free (24 hours a day, seven days a week) and provides them with an instant confirmation.
Dimmi assures guests a 100 per cent guarantee of their reservation by synchronising table availability with maze and maze Grill's electronic reservation diaries.
Enda Cunningham, maze Melbourne's general manager said, "Gordon Ramsay uses real-time reservations in all of his restaurants around the world and we find that our guests really appreciate the ease of being able to make bookings online, in their own time. Using Dimmi in Australia will ensure that every experience at maze Melbourne, from making reservations to dining in our two restaurants, will be memorable."
You can make an online reservation by visiting the maze and maze Grill websites, or gordonramsay.com/australianrestaurants.
