Guide to March Premieres

Yeehaw! We're looking forward to seeing Justified's Timothy Olyphant regulate.

With the Ides of March comes a new slate of series and season premieres. Here's your everything guide.

Sunday, March 14

... Sons of Tucson (Fox, 9:30pm) We're digging on the idea of what might happen if Malcolm in the Middle met Mr. Mom.

... The Pacific (HBO, 9pm)
The much-anticipated follow-up to the most-excellent Band of Brothers. Count us in.

... Minute to Win It (NBC, 7pm)
As hinted at in the show's title, contestants on Minute to Win It get 60 seconds to try to win a million-dollar prize. Guy Fieri, of Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, hosts. We'll pass.

... Celebrity Apprentice (NBC, 9pm)
This year's line-up includes former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich, former pop star Cyndi Lauper, and Sinbad. Yikes.

Tuesday, March 16

... Justified (FX, 10pm)
Timothy Olyphant as a U.S. Deputy Marshal laying down the law? You had us at Timothy Olyphant in a cowboy hat.

Wednesday, March 17

... South Park (Comedy Central, 10pm)
Season 14 and counting...

... Ugly Americans (Comedy Central, 10:30pm)
This cartoon looks like a D&D gamer's dream, with zombies, fairies, and werewolves wreaking havoc, sort of, on New York city streets. Color us intrigued.

Thursday, March 18

... FlashForward (ABC, 8pm)
After a long winter hiatus, FlashForward returns to answer one question: Will the show survive?

Sunday, March 21

... Life (Discovery, 8pm)
Supposedly Planet Earth on steroids. Yes, please!

... Breaking Bad (AMC, 10pm)
If you aren't excited for the return of Breaking Bad, you're doing a disservice to television.

Monday, March 22

... Dancing With the Stars (ABC, 8PM)
Buzz Aldrin and Pamela Anderson. Dancing.

... Nurse Jackie (Showtime, 10pm)
Okay Edie, show us your magic.

... United States of Tara (Showtime, 10:30pm)
Tara returns with her many personalities.

Wednesday, March 24

... Fly Girls (CW, 9:30pm)
A show about flight attendants on Virgin Air. Possibly not even worth an in-flight viewing.

... Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution (ABC, 9pm)
Jamie Oliver's accent is charming and endearing, and his mission to get people to eat better is important. Good luck, man!

... 10 Things I Hate About You (ABC Family, 8pm)
There's nothing not to like about 10 Things I Hate....

Monday, March 29

... Saving Grace (TNT, 10pm)
We were going through Holly Hunter withdrawal.

Tuesday, March 30

... V (ABC, 10pm)
Will the show's absence have forced our hearts to grow fonder of this alien-invasion reboot?

Wednesday, March 31

... In Plain Sight (USA, 10pm)
Mary Shannon makes us want to enter the witness protection program.

Which premieres will you be watching this month?

Hubby & 1 like Justified & FlashForward . We can't wait for the return of In Plain Sight! I enjoy Minute to Win it (except for the constant self-promotion, although it is understandable). On the other hand, Ugly Americans lasted for 1 & 1/2 episodes before being dumped...permanently,

Ihave to see Justified. And everything Jamie Oliver does is great!

FlashForward can be a great mini-series, but it can't survive on the long run...it would be awfully boring after one season...I doubt they can make anything new...Like tryptz said, please put V out of its misery...

Justified! Because FX owns me.And Ugly Americans because Natasha Leggro is one of the voices and I love her.Maybe FlashForward....I hope the writers do something a bit more interesting with it; it was pretty average. I don't have much hope though since 2 people already ditched it.

  • TheRepeatViewer

I'll give Flash Forward and V another chance, but I can't say for how long, because I'm not too enthused about either of them. They're just filler for when I have nothing better to do or watch. I'd heard of Breaking Bad for a while, but knew nothing about the premise until today. So I'll see if that show turns out to be promising. As for everything else, meh.

Very psyched about Justified, and Sons of Tuscon should be hilarious with more Sock, err, I mean, Tyler Labine. As well, Breaking Bad is, of course, just an amazing show, so I'm glad to see it back as well.

  • novembernicole

I will watch the return of V. I hope I can remember what was going on. It was so strange to only air 4 episodes of that show and then take a very long break. I will definitely watch Justified - I love Timothy Olyphant! I have never heard of Ugly Americans, but the description above sounds interesting. I will probably end up watching FlashForward too.
