Hannibal Season 3 Has a Premiere Date! (Also Here's NBC's Summer Schedule, BUT HANNIBAL THO)

NBC has just announced a handful of summer premiere dates, and it must be my birthday, because Hannibal's is at the top of the list.

Grab your calendars and get excited, because Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) will resume their delicate dance on Thursday, June 4 at 10pm when the show returns for Season 3 and Will tracks the good doctor to Europe. Yep, the show is moving back to Thursdays, and the premiere will reveal who survived the mayhem of the Season 2 finale. And based on the first promotional photo, it may also usher in a new wardrobe for Hannibal, who appears to be blending in with his new surroundings by wearing sexy leather moto jackets:

Also on the docket for Hannibal Season 3: a literal new face for Mason Verger, the introduction of the Tooth Fairy, and Gillian Anderson as a series regular.

And speaking of Anderson, here's a first look at what Bedelia Du Maurier is up to at the moment, courtesy of series creator Bryan Fuller:

Okay, she's just standing in the rain, but still. HANNIBAL, you guys!

In other NBC summer scheduling news, the network has also set premiere dates for Aquarius, America's Got Talent, and American Ninja Warrior.

Aquarius will kick off with a special two-hour premiere on Thursday, May 28 from 8 to 10pm before sliding into its regular 9pm timeslot on June 4. Set in 1967, the series stars David Duchovny as a detective who starts working a missing persons case and ends up tracking a young cult leader who's recruiting women to join his cause. The cult leader in question is someone whose name you may recognize: Charles Manson. He's young and cute and sporting a beard, not to mention played by Game of Thrones' Renly Baratheon, so it's easy to see why ladies are attracted to him.

Summer staples American Ninja Warrior and America's Got Talent will get a slightly earlier start, as the former will debut with a two-hour premiere on Monday, May 25 at 8pm and the latter will begin the following evening, on Tuesday, May 26 at 8pm.

I relay hope they dont spoil the end of the season in the first five minutes. I think season 2 would have been much better without that.

I thought Hannibal came close to being canceled. Can I trust NBC to keep it alive beyond season 3?

In the mean time you can enjoy Mads Mikkelsen's brother Lars Mikkelsen as the Russian president on season 3 of House of Cards.

I fucking knew it. I don't know why I never looked his name up, but his accent, and his face, I actually thought "this guy could have played Hannibal, he looks more creepy but he's less handsome". He did Petrov well too.

Fuller has confirmed several times that the premiere will *not* reveal who survived the finale, as it will take place solely in Europe from Hannibal and Bedelia's points of view.

Three months is a really fucking long time to wait. WHY, NBC? Why must you torture us so?

Can someone put some special funny sketch(image) to let Anderson and Duchonvy together because of these two tv programs.

Scully and Mulder finally come across from each other(NBC) but at different time zone(9pm amd 10pm/1967 and 2015). Hopefully time traveling will allow Mulder save Scully from being killed by the end of the season before Hannibal falls for Clarince at season 4. Don't kill off Anderson, please.

Woohoo Hannibal Season 3 YES! And on a Thursday no less - when people are actually often home to watch it. Too bad thursdays are as bad a fridays ratings wise over at NBC these days. Still- Hannibal is so great, I mean just so great - I hope people who have never seen the show will start to tune in as we are just now starting to see the main events of Red Dragon unfold with the start of Season 3. Hannibal = best show on tv - and that includes cable!

Nice! June 4 isn't horrible. At least it's not starting with some "Summer" series, 3-4 weeks later.

I didn't read anything in this article and I still won't... all that was important was the Premiere Date of Hannibal.

Glad about the Hannibal premiere date. And about Aquarius -- I may watch, but if Mad Men explores the Manson angle with Megan, that's just too much Charlie for me!

I'm loving the love for Hannibal Kaitlin, finally giving hype to a show that deserves it (that was a dig at the likes of The 100 if you didn't get it)

But June 4th???? SO FAR AWAY
