The bigger the better for HBO. The pay-cable network has given the go-ahead to Hung, a dark comedy from Dmitry Lipkin--the creator of The Riches--according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The program is certain to be gawked at by paralyzed onlookers because of its subject matter. Thomas Jane (The Punisher) stars as a struggling high-school basketball coach who finds a way to use his--err--God-given "trouser talent" to his advantage. However, the creators insist the sexual aspect of the "talent" will be only a portion of the show.
"It has its sexual moments, but the show is very much about what's happening in the country [and] how people are trying to survive using what God had given them," said Lipkin.
Sounds interesting enough. Expect Hung to hit HBO's lineup in June.

This sounds like a loser to me.
I think HBO should bring back The Riches ASAP and scrap this crappy sounding show. IMO, HBO hasn't produced a decent show since Deadwood.
Sounds intereseting HBO always produce good Tv shows
:):)
Sometimes HBO goes a little beyond what I'm willing to watch - Big Love and now this one. The shenanigans of Hank Moody on Californication is great -- but Thomas Jane in a show about a guy with a big **, not really interested.
It's not sounding interesting enough yet to get me to subscribe to HBO.
Hmm, sounds interesting. I think I'll give it a try.
I have trust in HBO, so I'll have to check this out before I, ahem, explode.
How can someone who made a show as fun and entertainging as "The Riches" make this shlop? HBO, why not bring "The Riches" back instead of this? Maybe you'll get some of your cred back since "The Sopranos" ended...
Yeah they cancel Rome and Deadwood and make crap like this. Nice work HBO.
Welp, ummmm I like Thomas Jane, so maybe it won't suck. Maybe that was a poor choice of words.
HBO has been home to some of the best TV Series ever. Hope they are on to something with this one. We shall see...
It sounds like it could really only be exploitative. However, the marketing for prostheses should be through the roof. "You, too, can look like ..."
Sounds odd. I'm theres only so many things you can do with "talent" like that and all the ones I'm thinking of are sexual ;)
Difficult to know what to make of this. It may be humourous. We'll have to see.
