Hemlock Grove Has a Season 2 Premiere Date and a Teaser Trailer

It's been a while since we've nearly vomited after watching a werewolf eat the dangling remains of its shredded human form post transformation, but that will be rectified pretty soon. Netflix has announced a Season 2 premiere date for its nonsensical horror series Hemlock Grove: Friday, July 11. All 10 episodes of the series will debut that day for your binge-and-purge-watching convenience.

Hemlock Grove stars Famke Janssen, Bill Skarsgård, Landon Liboiron, and Dougray Scott as inhabitants of a sleepy Pennsylvania town that's shaken up by all sorts of freaks, including werewolves, vampires, and a girl with a cauliflower head. It hails from Eli Roth (the Hostel movies) and is 100-percent insane; basically, it's like a low-rent American Horror Story that doesn't make nearly as much sense.

But if you missed Season 1, don't worry! I have you covered with this list of the grossest and weirdest moments from the first season

Netflix also released a tiny teaser trailer to accompany the date announcement, so here ya go!

Will you be watching Hemlock Grove's second season?

I initially thought this show was a POS. That being said, I think I'm sadly addicted even though my opinion hasn't changed. It's kind of like Queen of the Damned in that it glories in its trashiness and somehow that makes it impossible to look away.

Absolutely not. This is the worst show I've ever seen. I'm not the kind of person who says that all the time. In fact, I don't think I've ever said it about any other show before. But in a weird way, I'm glad that I watched the first season to the end, because now I know for sure that I've seen the dumbest thing ever on TV. (The bacon grease incident).

The first season started poor, was pretty great in the middle, and finished sort of bad. Still not sure AHS is a superior show though.

It's not. It's a date announcement video. The writer of this article is calling it a 'tiny teaser.' lol

How bought we call it a teaser image with background noise?

I wouldn't recommend it to most people but I'm going to watch it. Even though I like the show, I don't think it will appeal to many horror fans. That said, bring it on…I look forward to the insanity of this series.

... So we're doing this again, hey?

'Will probably hate-watch it for the hell outta it; 'wondering what dumbass explanation they will come up with to justify Olivia's resurrection - then again, with this show, there's a fairly good chance there won't be any explanation at all...

Yea, Hemlock Grove is that show that makes my head explode when people ask me if I like it. I hated it but I liked it but I thought it was ridiculous but I couldn't stop watching. So confusing feels.

That being said, they better amp up the sexual tension between Roman + Peter.

I must be one of the only ppl who has lately been searching the internet for updates on the return of Hemlock Grove... I'm sad to hear they're waiting til July... that's kinda lame.. Now I know this show has its problems, but I love it.. I enjoyed the hell out of this show! Can't wait to find out exactly wtf Ouroboros is.. Netflix really needs to step its game up in promotion for this show..they've failed pretty miserably at getting ppl excited to watch it.. Ppl who don't have Netflix don't even know HG exists..

This show was terrible and Bill can't act for shit when you think about who his brother and father are.

Yup. Floki on Vikings is another one of his acting brothers, and there's also a younger one.

Dear God I'd forgotten this show would actually be coming back.
It wasn't even that it was crazy or camp. It just literally didn't make any sense in parts or as a whole.
The worst thing is I know I'm going to watch this entire second season.

This show was so messed up and random. I started by liking it and than it had way too much of a focus on the mom and uncle which made it drag for a while. I am looking forward to seeing what they will do with all the crazy stuff they were left with at the end of the series. There is so much left unexplained.

I watched the pilot and liked it, but I've yet to watch the rest of the series. Now that I'm done with House of Cards I might as well check it out.

I'm hoping that now since they don't have a (supposedly) horrible book to draw from, they can actually come up with decent and coherent storylines... but I enjoyed it despite it's batshit crazy storytelling.

Loved first season, was nonsense, of course, but juicy and insane nonsense - the best kind. Looking forward to next season like it's the full moon.

I'm not a huge fan of "gross-out" horror. Things can be scary and spooky without having to resort to gruesome stuff.

Some of my favorite horror films are those with very little gore or insanely sick effects.

Can't wait! Kind of disappointed we're getting it so late though. Was hoping for mid April, like last year.
