Here Are Fox's Fall Premiere Dates

Get your calendars ready because Fox has unveiled its fall premiere schedule.

The network announced its fall lineup last month during network upfronts, but the season will officially kick off for Fox during the third week of September when Gotham, Empire, and more make their return alongside the series premieres of Lethal Weapon, Pitch, and Son of Zorn.

The schedule is staying pretty similar to last season with Lethal Weapon sliding into the pre-Empire slot on Wednesdays, sending Rosewood to lead-in to the MLB series Pitch. Fox will take advantage of Grimm's hiatus on NBC to try and make some Friday night genre magic for themselves. The Exorcist will premiere Friday, September 23 at 9pm—the same slot where Grimm has made a stable home for over three seasons.

Check out Fox's premiere schedule below. New shows are in ALL CAPS.

Monday night is must see... TiVo if my Packers are on MNF... lol... iffy on Tuesday night... love the Lethal Weapon movies, but Wednesday is a totally "What's on the other channels?" Night... Rosewood is second worst non-reality show on TV... right behind Empire... but Pitch might be good for a season... Fridays? Could be decent... Sunday is what you expect... but would rather have seen Cooper come back over Zorn... and anything but Bordertown over Bob's...

I'm so excited about Brooklyn Nine-Nine. I used to like Empire but season 2 was such a letdown from beginning to end.

The same two shows I always watch on FOX. Brooklyn Nine Nine and Family Guy. That's all, nothing else.

I'll tune in for Gotham and Lucifer...

The Exorcist debuting on Fridays 9pm seems a likely DOA... For every 'stable' Grimm on Fridays there are many failed genre shows Dracula, Constantine... FOX sent newbie comedy Enlisted to debut on Fridays and that didn't work either...

Gotham and Lucifer, for sure.. Now, I will give Lethal Weapon a try... but i suspect it might fizzle like Rush Hour did on CBS...

I watched the first season of "Lucifer" and enjoyed it quite a bit. Sadly, its the only show that looks interesting on FOX.

I'll definitely be watching Gotham. I am tempted to check out Lethal Weapon, since it looked reasonably interesting. And, as usual, I'll wonder why I keep watching Hell's Kitchen. It is long past time to dump that show.

FOX. In the Fall I'll watch the Great GOTHAM, & the Very Good ROSEWOOD. In the Winter KICKING & SCREAMING (TU@9pm) & APB (MN@9pm). In the Spring SHOTS FIRED (WED@8pm). Anybody hear news on when RECON will air? FATAL ATTRACTION (event series)? The best FOX show is GOTHAM & the currently airing WAYWARD PINES is Great too.

I hope that Fatal Attraction series isn't really happening.

I hope it is happening. You wouldn't watch it, or LOL you'd watch it just to be able to criticize it?

It would be pretty silly to watch it just to criticize it, so I'll likely not watch.

I still have a bad feeling about the Lethal Weapon show.

When you turn a movie into a show, the results are disastrous.

Some shows based on movies have succeeded but when it comes to Lethal Weapon, it's a toss-up. Personally, I'm expecting it to fail.

Yeah, you're right :
M*A*S*H
Bates Motel
Fargo
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
12 Monkeys
Stargate SG-1
Dukes of Hazard

Every last one of 'em sucked and got cancelled half way through the first season. Oh wait a minute....

Also forgot about Fame, I suppose in some ways was Glee's spiritual predecessor.

I guess you could include Teen Wolf as well.

Okay, there are exceptions.

But The Dukes of Hazzard was a show before it was a movie.

Moonrunners, a film by the creator of Dukes of Hazzard about a pair of brothers who are bootleggers in the South and featured characters like Uncle Jesse and Cooter and Sheriff Rosco Coltrane.

The film had Waylon Jennings as The Balladeer, they hung out at the Boar's Nest, the car was named after General Lee's horse Traveller, the boys were on probation and couldn't use guns so they used bows and explosive arrows, all of which got picked up on the show.
