With that disclaimer out of the way...on to the juicy gossip! In Touch is reporting that everyone's favorite Heroes real-life couple may be walking down the aisle sometime soon.
Citing the ever-present Hollywood source, the magazine says that Milo Ventimiglia, the actor who plays Peter Petrelli on the NBC hit, director of shorts, and interviewee of TV.com, is engagement-ring shopping for his sweetheart, Hayden Panettiere, also knows as Heroes' indestructible cheerleader. Apparently the plan is to pop the question before the end of the year, lock up Hayden (metaphorically speaking, of course), and break hearts all over the world.
"Milo was looking at rings in late June," a confidante of Mr. Ventimiglia told the magazine. "He really likes Cartier and intends to spend around $200,000."
Hayden and Milo have been dat--wait, $200,000?!?!? That's a lot of hair gel, Milo.
After months of dodging questions amidst paparazzi photos seeing them out and about and hand in hand, the pair finally came clean about their relationship last year. The news understandably raised some eyebrows because he is 31 years old and she has only been able to legally vote for about 10 months. But taking the glass-is-half-full approach, consider this: When he's 100, she'll be 87!

God, I really hope this is just one of those stupid rumors. If he actually proposes to her, I believe it will be one of his biggest mistakes in life. Plus as most of them says, she's waaay too young. And they haven't even been going out for that long. He dated Alexis for over 3 years and they broke it off. And they had a lot more in common then these two. I just don't see the relationship lasting any longer not to mention a marriage at that. I mean she can't even enter clubs he can!
He's 31? I thought he was in his early 20's, plus she looks like the only young star that is not an idiot, and its their life they're ruining. Finally, they make a cute couple, and he's a lucky sob. 'Nuff Said.
I wish people would leave them alone. Age doesn't stop feelings from forming for a person, and if you did a world wide survey you would find out that their age difference isn't so odd.

Her decision, their life. I just hope that married life doesn't affect their professional career (i.e.: the show). 18 almost 19 is a bit young, but she seems mature beyond her age. Best of luck for the sake of the show.

omg lol if this is true then well im happy for them but Milo is going a bit too fast, seriously she is just 19 and way too young atm. But when she reaches the right age im sure then that will be when to pop the question as i do think thye make a lovely couple. :)
OK people seriously ITS 12 YEARS DIFFERENCE. I mean how far apart are Catherine Zeta Jones and Micheal Douglas and they have been happily married with kids for ages. It dosnt matter how old the guy is as long as your happy. Plus I am 19 and if Milo at 31 asked me out it would be HELL YES!!!
They've been together longer already, since they kept it a secret for some time. So to me it looks pretty serious, and if they want to tie the knot, good for them! The age difference, too young to be married comments......Nobody knows how they feel except the people involved and frankly I don't care either. It's private business and as long as it won't affect Heroes, I'm good.

Count me in as one who didn't know they were dating. I think it's great, no one looks twice when a young guy dates an older woman. Hayden seems level headed and smart so I don't think she's going to jump the gun when it comes to marriage, in fact I say she turns him down if he pops the question, that is if the rumor is true.
I don't know about this one. Aside from the fact that he's quite a bit older then her, throw in thatn they are a Hollywood couple which as we all know puts even more stress on things. I don't see this working out too well. I do hope it does for them, I'm not rooting against them I'm just not very optimistic.

well.. i know they won't read this. but my father is 14.5 years older than my mom and they have been happy for almost 25 yrs now.. so.. love is ageless.. my husband is 7.5 years older than me.. and we're happy =) so.. give them a chancee..

The age diff is massive but I don't really care. Don't know them personally so Meh!!!As long as they continue to put on a good show (Heroes) that's all that counts.
I think its great! They look so cute together! who cares about there age! it doesn't matter as long they love each other. And its not like he looks like he's in his 30s... lol. It's none of our buisness to judge them. Some are ready for marriage earlier than others. My mom got married at around 18. And their still together! So i think haters should but out and let them live there lives.
And why should we care what they plan on doing in thier personal lives? Let Hayden's parents worry about her youth and marriage. let Milo worry about what will happen when they find out they have nothing in common after a year or two. All I care about is the show, which as a fan, is all I should care about.
They're dating? I didn't even know that. I think Hayden should wait to get married though, 18 is way too young. I'm 22 and I'm nowhere near ready to marry. I don't think the age difference is that big of a deal though, if you look at them you would never realize that there's such a large age difference.

I got married at 23, and I wish I waited until I'd grown up a little bit. It was too young. Hayden may be more mature than I was, but they should at least wait a few years. Milo is ready I'm sure, but he should think of her. They're an adorable couple, but there's no reason to rush into getting married.

If it lasts then good on them, but if it doesn't it'll prob to do with work commitments if it isn't the age difference. There is no reason why the age difference should get in the way unless they make it an issue by their own actions
I have nothing against the age difference. Personally, I draw the line at thirteen or fourteen years. But if this is true and Milo really is shopping around for rings, they should wait until she's at least 21. And who knows whether it'll last.
But whatever...it's their life, LOL.
It would be nice to think that this will last, but from the outside all history is against them. Let's hope they are solid enough to make this work...considering that Milo and Alexis Bledel broke up only a short time after he finished up on Gilmore Girls. I hope this is not a pattern. I doubt it's true. Don't get me wrong, I think HaLo is adorable together but they were saying the same things last year before they even officially came out as a couple. And as for the age difference, I don't know what the fuss is about. I mean my mom was 18 and my dad was 28 when I was born. Age is nothing but a number!

Assuming the rumor is true, I give their marriage a year before they split. Call me a pessimist but I don't imagine the ratio of co-stars falling in love has a high success rate. If they remain professional this won't ruin the show for the rest of the cast, allegedly :)
