Howard Stern is leaving cable channel E!, which for 11 years has aired the television version of his talk radio show. The Howard Stern Show is E!'s highest-rated show, and the cable network retains rights to air reruns. The show often featured potty humor, porn stars, strippers, and various other semi-clad women.
Stern was already set to depart traditional radio after signing a lucrative contract with the Sirius satellite radio network, where he will enjoy relaxed guidelines regarding racy content. In the past, Stern and Infinity Radio were regularly slapped with indecency fines from the FCC for using profanity. Comcast, parent company of E!, has been growing increasingly wary of the Stern show. Sources indicate Stern may be looking to hook up with Spike TV, The Network for Men.
Whatever the outcome, Stern will retain his trademark wit.

he should try to get on to hbo or showtime or a channel like that. His show has too much nudity to be on a regular channel and blurring out boobs ***s.
red5sw is it really necessary to post the same comment 3 times.. but yeah Howard Stern's show is fun to watch once in a while and that ***s that it won't be on anymore but hopefully it gets on SpikeTv so I have a reason to watch that channel.
There goes a great man, but now the only thing keeping me from watching E! is Coming Attractions.

I think he's brilliant
Howard Stern is completely pathetic. I hope he sticks to satellite radio so I never have to listen to him or see him again.
whoa, i stepped into a hornet's nest! i hate him now too!
I think "Howard Stern leaving Earth!" would have made me happier.
ehh...if he stayed away from the treating women as objects jokes and the jokes offending etnicities and races and the jokes offending (insert pretty much anything here) he'd be okay.
at first i hated stern but gradually he grew on me-- like mildew. he is actually smart when not being a total meathead.
