Hugh Bonneville goes Legally Mad for NBC

Legally Mad, a new NBC project centered on the adventures of Brady Hamm (Charity Wakefield), a young woman who takes a job at her dad's law firm, has come one step closer to having a full cast. 2001 British Academy Film Awards nominee Hugh Bonneville has agreed to take the part of Brady's father, Gordon.

"Gordon Hamm is based on the true story of a real-life attorney who lives in my head," said series creatorDavid E. Kelley (Boston Legal, The Practice, Ally McBeal). "Sharp litigator, a lot of fun and, deep down, a mess."

Other Legally Mad cast members will include Pushing Daisies' Kristin Chenoweth and Ghost Whisperer's John Seda. Bonneville starred in the HBO/BBC miniseries Five Days and Tsunami, The Aftermath. He will also appear in upcoming features Hippie Hippie Shake and French Film.

There's a follow-up to Five Days on at the moment on BBC1. I've only seen the first part, but I quite enjoyed it.
