Hulk REBOOT!

... Sure, since we're already redoing every single other property out there, let's reboot The Hulk as well. ABC is giving the green guy another spin with a new series, but details aren't out in the open yet. Also in talks to be adapted for TV is Marvel's Cloak and Dagger. Let's hear it: Who should play the Hulk? I say that wheelchair kid from Glee. [THR]

... No Ordinary Family just got a boost of confidence, as ABC has ordered four additional scripts for the freshman family superhero drama comedy (or whatever it is). This isn't quite a full-season pickup, but it's a good sign, as ordering additional scripts usually precedes a pickup. [Variety]

... Also getting more script orders are Life Unexpected (two), Brothers & Sisters (four), and the yet-to-be-aired Shonda Rhimes medical drama Off the Map (one). [The Live Feed]

... Former Prison Break star Wentworth Miller might be filling the loin cloth of cancer-stricken Andy Whitfield on the Starz series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Whitfield had to drop out of the show after doctors advised him to rest up. Miller was last seen about twice his previous size, so he'll have a bit of lifting in the yard to do. [EW]

... ABC Family's saucy Pretty Little Liars has added Lindsay Shaw to its cast for a guest stint. Shaw, from 10 Things I Hate About You and my sorta favorite comedy of all time Aliens in America, will play a member of Emily's swim team for two episodes. [MTV]

... The Gates star Frank Grillo tweeted that he didn't think his show was coming back for a second season, which surprised me because I figured the show was canceled already. [Digital Spy]

... And finally, the news you have been waiting for... the first guests for CBS' The View rip-off The Talk have been announced! Yay! Expect Christie Brinkley, Jennifer Lopez, Melissa Rycroft, Jamie Lee Curtis, and some other broads to do the yakkety yak. [THR]

Reboot of Hulk = another idiotic idea. We needed this like we needed a "Heroes" reboot. Well, those are the dumbass news we should expect now that Jeph Loeb is in charge of the TV department at Marvel...

Not another superhero adaptation! With all the movies and a few already existing TV-shows filling our lives, we don't need another TV show about them. We are completely bored with them. All the excitement of these characters are wearing off. We are so pumped up with superheroes one more fix isn't going to make us feel any better. In fact, it's just going to make us feel nauseous.

Who should play the hulk? Anyone is fine by me, as long as it's not a former/current wreastler looking to make the jump from sports "star" to actor. Very few can pull off the jump and land just short of success. See Hulk Hogan in Zeus or the Rock in anything. Now to the big news, the part that drew me in to read this article, Spartacus. I did attempt to watch Prison Break numerous times (Thanks Kristy) but Miller's acting had more cardboard than a Dominos pizza. He was bland and stale and thats what turned me off from watching more than the first 3 episodes. I love Spartacus and am going to miss Whitfeild. Get well soon my friend and come back to us, soon. Happy veiwing!

Oh geez, where do I begin...

The Hulk just wouldn't work as a TV show, I'm sorry. The original was ok but it suffered from one major flaw. A human sized Hulk (and the fact that Banner's first name was Bruce, not David). I might just be jaded thanks to CGI Hulks, but CGI is the only way to accurately portray Hulk. Now as for "No Ordinary Family" I happen to like the show. It reminds me of one of my favorite Pixar movies.

I'm also pretty interested in the idea of bringing Cloak & Dagger (the Marvel Comics characters) to the screen, though I think it should go to the BIG SCREEN. Not t.v.

I'm thinking "No Ordinary Family" should just be droped. The acting and stories are boring. And to have each episode show twice a week shows little hope for it other than ABC wants to push a bad show down people's throats.

I don't trust ABC anymore after they finally got around to canceling The Gates they obviously can't make an original show and give it the respect it deserves whhich explains why they are turning the the reboot of a 70's or 80's show formula, Personally I hope they choke on it.

I want to see decent shows from Marvel. I loved the Avengers pilot that we got to see during comic con, but I'd love to see more mature animation for us older fans. They said something about Ultimate Spider-man which I hope they do, but with a more adult audience in mind and closer animation to the original comic book [issues 1-130 before the Ultimatum]

I say the Great Kali from WWE as the Hulk. He just needs to be painted green and he is pretty much Hulk. As for Bruce Banner, I would go with someone short and dorky but with heart. He needs to look like a guy who has been holding in the anger for years when he did not have to and now has trouble doing so when he must. The actor has to show the fear that comes with knowing that if you lose control, people will get hurt. It means being lonely and shut off from the world. That has to translate to both Banner and the Hulk.

I hate The View. They all talk over each other, and you can barely make out anything they're saying. Seriously, if you haven't seen it, watch that show for 5 minutes. It's like chickens at feeding time....

Wentworth Miller as Spartacus??? That HAS to be a JOKE, right?!?!?!? Please someone say it's a joke!!! I still am not over the fact he was Chris Redfield on the Resident Evil movie (that I just refused to watch) and now you tell me he might be Spartacus!!! That is just sooo wrong!!! -___-

LOL @ your suggestion for Hulk, only if they want the show to only last 3 episodes...reading the rest of the news, Wentworth Miller would actually be good for Hulk..we already know he can play the "smart" character..unless they are looking for a really young Hulk
