It's the Nick's Kids' Choice Awards!

No fooling--Nickelodeon's 19th Annual Kids' Choice Awards show is coming up on April 1. The annual awards show, where kids vote on their favorite movies, TV shows, singers, video games, and more, will be broadcast live on the East Coast and will be tape-delayed on the West Coast. Taking place at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion, the awards will be hosted by King Kong star Jack Black.

The show is the Academy Awards of the kid and young teen world, and it draws a multitude of celebrities to the ceremony each year. This year features reality juggernaut American Idol going up against perennial kids' fave That's So Raven for favorite TV show, and hammy funnyman Ashton Kutcher facing off against Romeo!'s Romeo for favorite actor. Somewhere along the way, one of the lucky winners will get more than an award--they'll get a bucketful of Nickelodeon green slime dumped on their head.

Host Black promises to keep things crazy and wacky, saying, "I have a lot of secret plans for when I host the awards, but I can tell you I'm going to bring the super-duper, freaky-deaky, ultra-clowny super dance! But that's all I'll say."
