iTunes has Friends

While the cast of Friends searches for an opportunity that is even remotely as popular as the smash hit TV show, fans of the show can now download episodes of its first season on iTunes.

Apple's iTunes Music Store announced another content licensing deal today, allowing the download shop to add several TV shows from Warner Bros. The new batch of content includes the first season of Friends, the pilot of the new Aquaman, the best of MADtv, sci-fi epic Babylon 5, and classic cartoons like The Flintstones and The Jetsons.

"We're thrilled to add hit programming from Warner Bros. as we continue to grow our video catalog with the best current and classic television programming," Eddy Cue, Apple's vice president of iTunes, said in a statement.

iTunes will sell each episode for $1.99, although users can buy the entire first season of friends for $30. iTunes boasts more than 35 million videos sold to date.
