Jason Dohring Is Coming to iZombie Because Dreams Do Come True

It's here! The moment iZombie fans have all been waiting for has finally come.

Jason Dohring, who played fan favorite Logan Echolls on the network's cult drama Veronica Mars, has booked an arc on the third season of the CW zombie series. According to TV Line, the actor will recur as Chase Graves, the brother-in-law of Vivian Stoll (Andrea Savage), who was introduced in the Season 2 finale and promised a new zombie world order.

It's no secret that iZombie has been courting Dohring. Co-creator Rob Thomas, who also created Veronica Mars, previously told TV Line that he'd been hoping to book Dohring for a role in Season 2, but the actor was snatched up by fellow CW series The Originals.

iZombie: Will zombies become public knowledge?

Dohring is just the latest Veronica Mars alum to appear on the series. Ryan Hansen, Percy Daggs III, Enrico Colantoni, Daran Norris, Adam Rose and Ken Marino have all guest-starred, while Kristen Bell lent her voice to an episode last season. Colantoni will also direct an episode in Season 3.

iZombie returns at midseason on The CW.

As if the TVGuide merger thing wasn't bad enough, now we have to be stuck with autoplay ads as well?

I hadn't been to the site in a few weeks. This is nuts. Wasn't aware, except that everyone's commenting on it!

The thing I was last upset about was deleting, along with its content, forums.

fan-flipping-tastic! (not sarcasm.) he was great in a recent episode of Motive as well which was the last thing I'd seen him in since the Veronica Mars movie.

Oh my sweet grey matter fix how I've missed you!

Here's a crazy idea CW why donn't you just bring the show forward to now? I mean with all that's going on around us we need Ravi and the rest of the gang to bring a bit of calm into our lives.

I've noticed that writers often try to get the cast from their last show that was cancelled. I guess that's the next best thing but I'd really like to have iZombie and Veronica Mars. His stuff is different from the usual/typical prime time lineup and I really appreciate it.

"Please sir, I want some more"
