Jeri Ryan, who came to fame playing the cyborg Seven of Nine on Star Trek: Voyager, has signed up to play a recurring character on the upcoming season of the Fox teen drama The O.C. She will play a character named Charlotte Morgan, whom Kristin Cohen, played by Kelly Rowan, meets in rehab. Ryan will appear in at least seven episodes.
Ryan played the cyborg Seven of Nine for four seasons of Star Trek: Voyager. The character was a member of the Borg, a cyborg race that assimilated any humans it came into contact with and because they saw human individuality as a threat to its collective consciousness. Seven of Nine was rescued from the hive-mind of the Borg and became an integral part of the Voyager crew.
The O.C. is returning for its third season awash in the glory of being nominated for three Teen's Choice Awards.

I'm waiting for the episode when Jeri makes out with Michsa Barton... you just KNOW it's coming (out).
Good to see her again.
I'd have preferred, if CBS had picked up her pilot "The Commuters", of course.
I think Ryan's addition to The OC is a good thing. Kirstin needs more people for her to relate to and so she can finally have a friend that no one else is involved with in any way. Sandy had and has his friends and co-workers, so it's now time for Kirstin to, I think Ryan will be great.
Awesome. Good for her.
I wounder how many she will assimilate :D
I find it great that see is going to be back in one of my favorite shows.
Three teen choce awards! Wowzers. I once won a cub scout award for best wood car design- so i can relate.
First Lady Heather (who was in Enterprise's first episode), now 7of9. Star Trek: Orange County would be cool.
You know I kinda feel sorry for Ryan since she will always be known as the gal who played the borg in Voyager.
