Jimmy Kimmel Gets a Two-year Contract Extension at ABC

While NBC and CBS are in the midst of major late-night overhauls, ABC has extended Jimmy Kimmel's Jimmy Kimmel Live contract for two more years.

The deal secures Kimmel's hosting position through January 2017 and sets up Kimmel to compete against The Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon, as well as Stephen Colbert when he takes over Late Showr Late Show from David Letterman next year.

Jimmy Kimmel Live is currently in its 11th season, and while Fallon is getting more viewers in the 18-to-49 demographic, Kimmel has still managed to grow his audience for the fourth consecutive year.

Are you excited for more Kimmel?

Jimmy Fallon VS 2 stick in the butt guys! Jimmy Fallon is so much more fun to watch like he is more down to earth and more like the rest of us. He also not fear to play the Joker card sometimes!

Well it is quite obvious that you have never watched Jimmy Kimmel before if you refer to him as a "stick-in-the-butt" guy. I like Jimmy Fallon, but I have loved Jimmy Kimmel since his days as host of The Man Show with Adam Corolla.
