Jimmy Kimmel Will Host the 2016 Emmy Awards

Jimmy Kimmel will return as host for the 68th Emmy Awards on September 18, ABC announced Monday.

With the four major networks rotating broadcasting duties for the Emmys every year, Kimmel—who is ABC's late-night man on Jimmy Kimmel Live!—gets the call once again from ABC. Kimmel hosted four years ago in 2012, when ABC aired the Emmys last. He will be taking over from Andy Samberg, who hosted last year's ceremony on Fox.

Nominees will be announced July 14.

Are you looking forward to seeing Kimmel take the reins again?

No, I'm not looking forward to Kimmel. I'd prefer hot female eye candy.

Great! I can't wait to see how many tweets he gets celebrities to read!
