Jimmy Kimmel's Fanfic-Fueled Friends Reunion: The One With Ross's Lovemaking (VIDEO)

Jimmy Kimmel staged a (partial) Friends reunion on Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday night, debuting some of his fanfiction about the beloved sitcom on a set that looked quite familiar... because it was an exact replica of Monica's kitchen on the show.

In the scene he wrote himself, Kimmel stands in for David Schwimmer to play Ross, with Rachel (an exasperated Jennifer Aniston), Monica (Courteney Cox), and Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) all remarking, naturally, on Ross's excellent skills in the sack. The result? Let's just say that Kimmel should stick to hosting a talk show instead of pursuing a career as a screenwriter.

Check out the skit below to see whether Kimmel gets the liplock he's gunning for—and to find out what happened to Chandler (Matthew Perry) and Joey (Matt LeBlanc) in his version of Friends:

I honestly don't think there is a more attractive woman that Jennifer Anistion. Mid 40s and still absolutely stunning.

I thought it was hilarious. Haha, guess I'm in the minority.

But it could also be that along with being a FRIENDS fan, I'm also quite familiar with fanfiction, and sadly, that's not too far off from some terribly written fanfiction that I have come across. So, to me, comedy gold.

Don't care how crappy the material is, even seeing half of the main cast together was amazing.

A Friends reunion may never happen but we got Big Bang Theory The Next Friends for the current generation that will still go on for a few years to come!

I love TBBT but comparing it to Friends is ridiculous, it will NEVER be able to walk in the same shoes as Friends.

Jennifer really was in on the whole thing, right? She was just acting. Have to admit though, that was pretty awful! LOL

The look of agony in Jennifer Aniston's face made this so much worth it.

I'm not gonna dignify this with a viewing, I don't think, but can anyone tell me how they explain why Monica would be talking about her brother's lovemaking skills?

It's a parody. Jimmy was forcing the actresses to act out a really, really bad fanfiction. Spoiler: they didn't actually go through with it. And it's mercifully short. :)

The cast doesn't really run the risk of being "too old". It's not like it's an action franchise or a series where the cast is immortal and doesn't age.

WB?? I thought that was replaced by the CW. And the cast were too old to be on CW when they were first on the air.

WB produced Friends. But I don't think that it's their decision, it's David Crane and Marta Kauffman's decision.

Not only them, the actors also said they wouldn't have wanted to do an 11th season.

In later years, Matthew Perry and Lisa Kudrow said they wished they kept going a little longer.

not the channel . WB owns the friends tv show. CW is just a tv channel own by the WB like Friends. only WB has rights to make a friends reunion and WB can give it to the highest bidding TV channel. last time NBC got it.no they are not too old when started . they are still in a good shape

Eh, that was just a joke because CW excels on teen series with actors younger than 22 years old. Of course they weren't old when they were 30-40. And personally I don't believe that any actor is ever too old unless they don't have the power needed to act. Even a reunion when they reach 70 would be nice (40 years later and they are still together). But it seems like all the protagonists took different directions so there is no point for us to stack in the past. Life moves forward.
