July 18, 2006 DVD Releases

Got "Pretender Season 4" and haven't started watching it yet-LOVED Season 3!!! Right now I'm finishing up "Charlies Angels S3" and "Outer Limits (just started)S1"...want to get "Amazing Stories" and "Incredible Hulk"..Bill Bixby rocked!!!! Can't say enough about "Medium Season 1" and even though I watched all the episodes, can't wait to get Season 2.

Oh wow great DVD's, She Ra and Carnivale Love it

Awesome week!!!! First thing i would get is Spongebob, but I would also like That's so raven and Suite Life...I'm not gunna buy it, but Ren and Stimpy is Hilarious!!

Finnally, I get that sweet, sweet Bruce Campbell loving, Jack and Brisco for me, with a slice of Pretender to sate my despair of having no ending to the series. Jury is still out on whether to buy Amazing Stories.

The Pretender I'll be buying for my Dad. Other then that Nada

'Amazing Stories' & 'Incredible Hulk' are the only collections here for the serious TV viewer.

All kinds of good stuff this week. Two things with Bruce Campbell, can't get better than that. And Spongebob and Hulk. Oh yeah!

Best Buy had a pretty good price for Carnivale. I must have called at least 15 stores looking for Jack of All Trades. Best Buy was the only one who had a copy. It seems it was flying off the shelves as well. Glad I got there in time to get both!

I had to go to 3 stores until I found a copy of Jack of All Trades. Even Best Buy was sold out of them!

I thought of getting the Ren and Stimpy one but I want to wait until it price in a few months.

I am not into The Hulk anymore.

I was afraid that TV.com was going to forget Brisco County was coming out this week...

It's about time that Flash Gordon cartoon made it to dvd. I used to watch it as a kid, and it was about the best interpretation of the character I've ever seen. The robot guards with the sunbursts on their chests looked wild. All the animation was impressive. I hope this isn't priced too high out of reach for me.

Finally a decent week with Brisco County, Amazing Stories & Carnivale all worthy of purchases. Too bad looking at the costs of those 3, I can probably only afford 1 of them. Season 4 of The Pretender will go onto the Netflix Queue.

I love Amazing Stories and have already purchased it. It's netflix for Brisco County since I missed the show when it first aired.

Nothing I want. I like Spongebob, but I've kinda stopped watching frequently, and Ren & Stimpy I also like, but not only have I not even watched all of the first set, but I'm not sure I really want to watch those episodes.

Oh come on. Nickeleodon why do you put out your newer cartoons like Spongebob when I can see all the episodes of the the show be played 2-3 times in a mounth.

I agree with Morgalad. After finishing teh first season on dvd, i was very upset to hear that they had cancelled the show after the second season and that the show didn't even get a chance to really "end"

Finally, the second season of Carnivale, the best series ever made. Actually, I could very well count it as one of the best movies I have ever seen. It is truly a masterpiece.
I hope that if the sales are big enough then maybe HBO will reconsider the cancellation.
