Now that this show has been reimagined as a major motion picture starring Nicole Kidman and Will Ferrell, there is no better time to get familiar with the original.
Bewitched tells the story of Samantha Stephens, played by Elizabeth Montgomery. Samantha is your typical middle-American housewife: She cooks, she cleans, and she irons her husband's shirts. However, this boring old housewife has a secret--she's a witch! Samantha can't stop causing mayhem, much to the chagrin of her long-suffering mortal husband, Darin (played by Dick York in the first five seasons).
Rounding out the show is one of the funniest ensemble casts in television history: Agnes Moorehead stars as Samantha's mother, Endora, who is extra witchy to her son-in-law; Alice Pearce is the nosey neighbor Gladys Kravitz; George Tobias plays her oblivious husband, Abner; and Marion Lorne stars as the dotty Aunt Clara. Guest-stars include a veritable who's who of '60s pop-culture icons, including Adam West, Raquel Welch, and Artie Johnson.
The entire first season is being released in two formats--the original black and white version and a colorized version. Each version contains 36 episodes on a total of four discs, with extras that include a behind-the-scenes featurette titled The Magic Unveiled, a blooper reel called Magic and Mishaps, and a complete theatrical trailer for the new movie.

This four-disc box set contains all 22 episodes from the second season of Degrassi: The Next Generation. In this season, the teens deal with some heavy issues, like date rape, child abuse, racism, and eating disorders. As usual, this realistic show deals with the issues in a gutsy, honest way. On a lighter note, all of the episodes in the second season are named after songs from the '80s.
This box set is jam-packed with features. The episodes in this set are the "directors cut" versions, as originally produced. Extras include more than 130 extended/deleted scenes, cast auditions, and an interactive fan quiz. Also included is a karaoke song, a Degrassi yearbook, profiles of students and adults, and cast bios. Finally, the set includes Snake and Spike's wedding album.
