Justified Justifiably Gets Renewed for Season 2

... FX's newest drama Justified will be back for Season 2, the network announced yesterday. The show has tapered off a bit since its big debut, but is still basic cable's number-one new show among men. I enjoy the show, but man oh man does it need more Walton Goggins. [FX, via press release]

... We won't know the major networks' schedules until after May's upfronts, but we do know one new show that will be part of NBC's lineup: Undercovers. The J.J. Abrams spy show has already been granted a spot on the Peacock's schedule next season with a 13-episode order. The show has already made as many headlines for being associated with producer extraordinaire Abrams as it has for casting of two African-American actors as leads. Score one for diversity on TV!
