Kirstie Alley's Tumble Seals Her Dancing with the Stars Victory (VIDEO)

One of the main reasons we watch Dancing with the Stars is to see famous people on the ground. That's just a fact. Sometimes it's funny (Cloris Leachman's daredevil cha-cha), sometimes it's scary (Marie Osmond's fainting spell), and sometimes it's just plain sad. Unfortunately, that was the case last night with Kirstie Alley, who's been killing it so far this season.

But last night, after telling an incredibly depressing story about losing her mother to a drunk driver, Alley's rhumba was cut short when partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy's leg buckled trying to support her. After a short recovery period, they both dove back into the choreography, and wound up with a score of 21—one point higher than last week. She now has us eating out of the palm of her hand, and that disco-ball trophy is hers to lose.

By all accounts, Kirstie was doing just fine after the show. "[I was] so scared because something can happen and now that it's happened I'm like, 'So what?'" she told reporters, before heading out to Hollywood to get the word "Unbroken" tattooed on her wrist. Why? Why not. It's the mark of the true champion.
