When Kristen Bell joined the cast of Heroes last season as Elle, a sassy lass with the power to emit electricity from her fingertips, fans of both Heroes and Bell's previous show--Veronica Mars--squealed in delight.
But when the shortened second season wrapped, there was no certainty that Bell would return to her shocking role and some feared scheduling conflicts from Bell's movie career would end her Heroes time early.
Well those fears can be put to rest, because Bell is back. The actress confirmed the news with People, and will return to the show in a multi-episode arc. According to the magazine, Bell will be in the fourth-season premiere, which airs on September 22.
Speaking of her return, Bell told People, "I'm just happy to be electrocuting people again!"
The wildly popular Bell can also be seen in the upcoming films When in Rome and Fanboys.

Glad to hear it, loved Elle. Bell played her role really well with lots of gleefulness. Part boy-crazy assasin, part Daddy's girl. Hope she gets some more good screentime in season 3 and hooks up with at least one of the Heroes.

SWEEEEEEEET!!!... was really worried that her movie roles would not permit her to continue on 'HEROES',guess I don't have to worry anymore. Now I just hope she does more than just the multi episode arc and maybe comes back for a forth season as well.

Sweet. Kristen and David Anders were the only reasons Volume 2 wasn't a complete waste of time. I'm SO happy she'll be back again this season. Hopefully she'll get scenes with Francis Capra, too.
She actually has a strange face, if you look at it, but What A Presence. Not your average cutie, like, let's say, Hayden? Finally they cast a good looking woman with charisma, now bring her back forever.

It was pretty much a given that her character would be in Season 3, unless they somehow did a "mystery death" ala D.L. then explain in mid-season, her character is already set into the storyline (latching onto Peter's back story. Also being that Season 3 is planned to be a full season, they can spread her character throughout instead of cramming her down the not-so-rabid-Kirsten-Belle-fan's throats.
