Lauren Graham's break from television is (hopefully) almost at its end. The actress has been highly sought after since the demise of the clever CW show Gilmore Girls and ultimately found a home at ABC, where her next project has just been given a pilot order.
Let it Go is one of two projects to be given the green light for a pilot in hopes of making next season's fall roster, says The Hollywood Reporter. In the single-camera comedy, Graham plays a self-help specialist that has trouble following her own teachings once her boyfriend dumps her. Will & Grace's Alex Herschlag is writing the script.
Also moving forward at ABC is another comedy pilot from Scrubs writer Tad Quill. The show follows the lives of two friends, both eclipsing the 40-year-old mark, going in two different directions.

I love Lauren Graham! Her performance as Lorelai in Gilmore Girls was brilliant! Unfortunately, from what I've already read about the premise of this new ABC comedy, the show doesn't sound at all interesting or original. And, it seems like a waste of a great talent such as Graham.

It will be nice to see her again, but I'll still see her as Lorelai, it's going to be hard for her to get out of that.
Love Lauren and will be glad to see her back. Hopefully ABC won't bounce her show all over the schedule like it does most new shows.
Hopefully it will not be as "Return of Jezebel James" was, expecting a huge new wonderful show, but turning out horrible (or at least said to be, I didn't find it as bad as most did...)

By the way, I hate that they cancelled 'Men in Trees'! It was an original show, very good comedy and drama altogether. Lauren Graham is among my favorite actresses, she has a genuine talent, so please give her a good show! :)

Lauren Graham rocks, and it was tough to see Gilmore Girls end when it did. Hopefully this new show will work because i really want her back on my screen again!

Yeah, Jason Alexander tried a show like this and failed, his sitcom Bob Patterson was cancelled after 4 episodes, Lauren Graham is a talented actress and should bring some originality to her show and it should do just fine, hopefully the network doesn't put it up against American Idol then it'll be doomed.

Nice to see she may be back on TV again soon -- but this definitely sounds like a show I've already seen. Definitely agree with ResEv (Jason Alexander on Listen Up) and Nikkles (Men in Trees) as well as Ted Danson's (Help Me Help You).
