Lost actor arrested

Another Lost actor has been found by police.

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who plays the gun runner-turned-holy man Mr. Eko on ABC's hit series Lost, was arrested Saturday in Hawaii. The actor was cited for disobeying a police officer and driving without a license.

Akinnuoye-Agbaje spent the night in a Waikiki jail before being released on $500 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court September 29.

Lost actors have had many moving violations in the past two years. Josh Holloway (Sawyer), Dominic Monaghan (Charlie), Naveen Andrews (Sayid), and Ian Somerhalder (Boone in season one) have all been cited for speeding; Harold Perrineau Jr. (Michael) was cited for having no car insurance during a traffic stop; and Michelle Rodriguez and Cynthia Watros were pulled over for drunk driving the same night.

Lost returns for season three on October 4.

Funny how the 2 women who were arrested for drunk driving were killed OFF in the same episode (Ana Lucia and Libby). The others were only sited for speeding and only Boone was bumped off. Food for thought.

You have to wonder why THIS particular traffic stop happened. Think about it: "Driving without a license" is an offense that can only be discovered by stopping the driver. So why was he stopped? The article doesn't say. Let's not hurry to lump this actor in with those who attracted police attention by doing something wrong. Also, "driving without a license" doesn't always mean the driver does not own a license; in my area, at least, it can mean that the driver was out driving without having the license on his/her person as proof of permit. That's a dumb thing to do, granted, but a dumb mistake like running an errand without carrying your license wouldn't be the same as driving when you have no permit at all. Last, it doesn't say in what way he "disobey[ed] a police officer," so none of us yet knows whether he did something you or I wouldn't do.moreless

He'll mysteriously die, and then the writers will claim it was going to happen anyway...

"all of the arrests seem minor, even the drunk driving isn't all that bad to me as noone was hurt."
Oh, so drink driving is okay, huh? I suppose attempted murder is also fine in your book, as long as people are lucky enough not to get killed in the process.

Setting a great example. So he's an actor on a huge hit TV series and now he thinks the cops and the law doesn't apply?Someone has to do some major work on that series. For a show to have that many law violations within 3 years is just crazy.

Only Rodriguez and Watros made serious offenses. Everybody gets caught for speeding from time to time.
