For Lost fans looking for spoilers next season, the future looks bleak--but not impossible. After tidbits of last season's finale were leaked on the Internet, the show's creators have promised to keep details on the upcoming fourth season under lock and key.
But diehard fans can still draw theories, no matter how hair-brained they may be, from the various casting announcements made during the off-season. While new cast members of other shows have been revealed all summer, Lost has remained relatively quiet...until now.
The floodgates have opened (relatively) for the show, with a pair of casting additions reported in just a few days. While they don't quite have the star power of other shows' recent announcements, they are familiar faces to those who watch plenty of cable's best shows.
Lance Reddick, best known for his work on The Wire and Oz, will join the cast as a recurring character. He will play Arthur Stevens, according to TVGuide.com, a "corporate recruiter who is smart, capable and ruthless."
Also likely headed to the island is Ken Leung, who was recently seen on The Sopranos. No details are out on his character, as the role is said to be top secret.
Lost reportedly attempted to but could not land Veronica Mars' Kristen Bell, who eventually opted for a multi-episode arc on Heroes. However, the drama still has time to land big-name actors as its season does not begin until February 2008.

I can´t wait It´s going to be awsome
I hated what they did with the new characters on season 3. Shouldn't have killed those two like that. So I aint really into new characters, cause they get killed just when you get to like them
HAVING MORE ACTORS MEANS MORE JUICY DETAILS ADDED TOO HEY......... ITS JUST GETTING MORE AND MORE INTERESTING.
they're both excellent actors, good news :D
I have not heard of either of these actors, so it does not matter to me, as long as their characters are believable.
Riddick's character, DHS Agent Park in CSI Miami, was actually good.
Whats lost?
weee so that means THERE WILL BE ANOTHER SEASON...phewww I thought it was finished..but I couldn't believe it could be finished with so many questions unanswered
Ooh, more Lost cast, that only means the plot can only get juicer! :D
I thought Lost started in late fall.
i don't know these actors, but i am sure they will be great addition to the cast.
Anytime I can see Lance Reddick on my TV is always a good thing.
"However, the drama still has time to land big-name actors as its season does not begin until February 2008."
What? I dont want lost to land big-name actors. I mean these two are fine, their relatively known, but big name actors might spoil it. Thats what I like about this show, the actors are relatively unknown but their amazing. Just my 2 cents.
Cool, I like Ken Leung a lot.
Upon reading the headline I thought Kate was getting a boob job. Just kidding!
Guys the 3rd season dvd set of Lost will be release on september 21th in Latin america. And here it'll be release until December...whyyyyy???
Great additions to the show IMHO!
awesome! can't wait for the next season!
Exciting! Except imdb.com lists the actor's name as Lance Reddick, not Lance Riddick. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the cast additions.
Ken Leung is great! That Sopranos episode was one of my favorites. Lost has the best cast....
As long as they're good actors I'm happy. Big names are great, but at the end of the day you want good characters. As much as I'd have liked to see Kristen Bell in Lost it'd be crap if instead of being interested in her character we were all just "look it's Veronica Mars!"
Interesting casting, but Lost has so many actors already that I can't imagine they'll get much airtime.
Yeah, these are outstanding additions to the show!
LOST DOESN'T START UNTIL FEBRUARY 2008?! OMG!!! @_@
Nice!
wow....
good article!
In the immortal words of Dom Deluise as Emporor Nero in "History of the World Part I": Nice. Nice. Not thrilling, but nice.
