Lost Fans are Annoying

Lost fans are some of the most dedicated TV viewers ever. They're also some of the most annoying, according to this video from the jokesters at The Onion.

Final Season Of 'Lost' Promises To Make Fans More Annoying Than Ever

One thing Lost provides its fans is plenty to talk about. It's a byproduct of the twirling storyline that can be used for both evil and good. Fellow Losties, do the responsible thing and let's keep the chatter about time travel, Jater, and Tawaret amongst ourselves. Those other people will never understand!

the show is annoying so it is not really a big surprise that the fans are annoying

  • PatrickKeenan

Instead of a normal comment, I'm going to comment on the least intelligent comments below."Lost is the only show that makes you think, maybe that's why people that doesn't watch it, think that the people who watch it are annoying - Because we think and they don't?" LOL, people that doesn't watch it. And "the only show that makes you think"? What shows do you people watch for Christ's sake!? Go watch The Sopranos or Mad Men or BSG or a miniseries like Band of Brothers."LOST is the greatest invention of mankind. " ..."It's not arrogance that drives us LOST fans, its confidence." Spoken like a true creationist.

O no dont press the button and now the island is going back and fourth through time. Just cant stand where they have gone with the story

  • JimSallads

Lost is the only show that makes you think, maybe that's why people that doesn't watch it, think that the people who watch it are annoying - Because we think and they don't?

  • veryoldguy

LOST is the greatest invention of mankind. Whoever doesnt like it obviously does not have the brain power to understand it.

add a commentIt'd be interesting to find how they successfully turn the religious and paranormal absurdities into a solid realistic story. The whole thing must be a GAME - being played by Jacob and the other 'Man in black'. Jack, Locke, etc are all just pawns. But who's Jacob - that's the punch Cuse/Lindelof have to handle with acceptable rationalism. Let's see...

i like lost, its a good show. I dont think it's the best thing ever on TV, but those that do, o.k. so what. The video was funny. I just don't get the lost haters. If you don't like the show, guess what? Don't watch! Yes, it's that simple. I just think people these days get off on being total jerks and try to belittle other people's likes. It's like everyone has to tell you their negative opinion all the time. It gets really old America.

This is so true my sisters boy friend watches every episode and records it to then rewatches it like 6 times to make sure he saw everthing. His obsessed ways made me steer clear of the second half of the 5th season because i couldn't handle no more lost...i hope that doen't happen this year.

  • ProfSalvador

Hehe... Lost. What an overrated piece of mediocre pie. It is not the greatest show evar. Nor does it have the best story ever. Stop coming off as a bunch of chipmunk, arrogant douchebags and maybe we'll stop making fun of your show.

  • QE-Zodak

"which one of these things already belongs to you?" "i'll neva leave ya penny" "kate, damn it run!" "don't tell me what i can't do"

  • United815

It's not arrogance that drives us LOST fans, its confidence. You see, we are confident that our show is the best show out there. We just know the truth in it. THere is no other show that comes close in the amazing writing, and compelling story. It's not a delusion that we see this. It's a delusion to believe that LOST isn't the best show on TV. :-) LOST fans are just confident in what we KNOW :-)

  • buildam2005

I must agree with you, katme. I do enjoy LOST, but an entirely too high percentage of fans suffer from tunnel vision about the idea of LOST having any problems, as well as suffering from the delusion that it's the best thing since sliced bread.

  • thacknasty

it did get boring at the end of season 2...then it got good again...

  • evilish

Lost? Still? Dear god, I got bored of it at the end of season 2...

  • torrijos

I love the reference in the end to "The Wire" ^^

  • FrostyD7

    that was....pretty damn hilarious

  • katme3

angrodpallanen, you have proven my point. jerk.

  • slick14805

I gotta admit that was pretty funny

  • FallenOneX

Never saw a full episode, never really wanted to. But i do enjoy how if I don't watch the show, I "don't get it". No, I got it, the show wasn't interesting to me.

  • angrodpallanen

@katme3 We're not arrogant, we can't help LOST is better than anything you watch...

  • katme3

i find Lost fans more arrogant than annoying. I like my shows as much as the next person but I don't go off bashing other shows just to make my fave TV show much better.

  • netgoddess

I love how The Onion can get the real LOST producers to show up for a spot. I am a LOST fan but I keep my incessant chatter to LOST forums rather than annoying my friends who don't watch the show.

  • RAYcluse

This is basically the same deal with us "Damages" fans. We make hurried and random claims about how characters are killed and then we all end up being very wrong.

  • tkpanda

oh wow im a lost fan but im also normal, we shudnt be grouped along with the crazies.

  • mrfurious00

that was great! well played by Damon and Carlton. can't wait!!!!so i can annoy the crap out of my other friends!!!

  • tcclives23

That was hilarious! and I'm one of those people that think LOST is the best thing ever. :D lol

  • buildam2005

Oh that's funny. As someone who watches LOST (but doesn't have the pesky LOST-is-the-best-thing-ever-and-never-has-a-single-crappy-moment-and-if-you-think-so-then-you-don't-know-good-tv attitude), I can appreciate the humor here.

  • ilovelost815

there is only one problem, who doesn't watch LOST?

  • mgfish

From episode one till now this show has used the web and the people in order to build their brand. The producers know what they are doing. It is fun to watch them pull the PR strings--the onion--the last supper...etc.
