Love in the Wild, Necessary Roughness, and SYTYCD

What to watch on Wednesday, June 29.

Tonight when you're watching television, you'll probably suddenly wonder whether you maybe left the caps off all your Sharpies. Nope, you didn't, it's just the Wednesday-night schedule!

Love in the Wild
After a false-start a few weeks ago, this show FINALLY premieres tonight, which is great because The Bachelorette deserves a true challenger for the title of Most Horrifying Dating Show on Television. Tune in for tonight's diabolical premiere, in which 20 singles arrive in Costa Rica to be paired up for "adventures" and then get forced into crocodile-infested waters.

Necessary Roughness
The awesome Callie Thorne stars in USA's newest show, which is disappointingly not a remake of the '80s Kathy Ireland vehicle of the same name. No, in this thing Thorne plays a sports therapist, not a busty field goal kicker. In tonight's premiere, she lands a job with a football team and struggles to maintain a balance between work and family (obviously).

The Voice
Tonight we'll find out which undeserving person your fellow Americans voted for instead of YOUR favorite. The winning VOICE will receive $100,000, a recording contract, and a free invitation to Christina Aguilera's little brother's annual pirate-themed birthday party.

8pm, Fox
So You Think You Can Dance
Only 16 contestants remain after last week's heartbreaking dancer genocide. I know, I know, genocide is no laughing matter. But neither is Iveta getting sent home! She and her weird apple-cheeks deserved better. Oh well, our planet spins ever onward, and tonight the remaining 16 contestants will again dance their hearts out for our approval (and votes!).

State of Georgia
Oh, hey Raven-Symoné! Where you been, girl? In this new sitcom from ABC Family, aforementioned former Cosby kid moves to NYC with her nerdy pal so they can follow their respective dreams. Featuring Loretta Devine as the titular Georgia's PCP-addicted aunt. Just kidding about the PCP. (Hopefully!)

Melissa & Joey
Remember the innocent days when Clarissa was explaining everything and Joey wasn't some bald, steroid-addled tanorexic monster? Those were the days. These days though, Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence star on this sitcom about a local politician and her hunky "manny," and it returns from midseason hiatus tonight with an episode in which "Joe" dates his secretly pregnant ex-wife.
