Luke Perry has signed on with the ensemble cast of HBO's new drama John From Cincinnati.
Perry had done a guest shot in the Cincinnati pilot and has now signed on to be a regular on the series, which began production this month for an anticipated summer premiere date. The series, from Deadwood creator David Milch, revolves around southern California's surfing culture and a dysfunctional family. Bruce Greenwood, Rebecca De Mornay, Ed O'Neill, and Luis Guzman also star.
Perry, best known for his stint on Fox's Beverly Hills, 90210, most recently starred in the short-lived NBC drama Windfall. He also starred the Showtime sci-fi series Jeremiah from 2002-04.

The Movie was called The Normal Life
What was the name of the movie where Luke Perry starred with Ashley Judd? He played an ex-policeman who was pulling robberies to keep the household afloat I have always liked Luke Perry.K. Peterson
