Being the talked-about Emmy winner it is, AMC's Mad Men leaves fans wanting more, more, more. Well that more, more, more won't be coming for a bit longer this year, as AMC has put off the premiere of the show's third season a few weeks.
The first two seasons of Mad Men premiered in July, but the anticipated third season won't get underway until August, says Variety. That's about all we know at this point, as the network hasn't released a specific debut date.
Mad Men's Sterling Cooper ad agency has also hired a new financial officer. Actor Jared Harris will play Lane Pryce in a "major recurring role," according to The Hollywood Reporter. The 47-year-old British actor recently wrapped up a recurring role as David Robert Jones on Fringe and was seen in theaters as Captain Mike in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
Are you mad for Mad Men?

Apparently delays are due to negotiations with the series creator/writer. An interesting case of life imitating art? At the end of season 2 the creative talent threatens to leave, on and off the screen...
I can't wait. I really like Jared Harris as well. I think he will fit in nicely.
JFC, good thing I'm used to this after being a fan of Battlestar Galactica.
That's ok, I love that show but if I have to wait a little longer so be it. Plenty to watch in the meantime.
I found out about Mad Men by mistake but now it is one of my favourites.
