C.T.U. is on a hiring spree.
24, the Fox action series that won three awards in last Sunday's Emmys telecast, has added Marisol Nichols to its cast. Nichols will play a new boss to Chloe, the gruff Counter-Terrorist Unit systems analyst played by Mary-Lynn Rajskub.
Nichols has been seen in episodes of Cold Case, Blind Justice, and In Justice. She has appeared in the feature films Big Momma's House 2 and the upcoming Delta Farce, starring Larry the Cable Guy.
In previous seasons of 24, Chloe has been instrumental in aiding main character Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) in his fight against terrorism. Chloe and Bauer often must deal with inept or corrupt superiors.
24 picked up awards for Best Drama, Best Director for Jon Cassar, and Best Actor in a Drama for Sutherland. The sixth season of the action show returns to Fox in January.
