Allison DuBois will see more dead people...at least for another season.
NBC has picked up Medium for another season, its fourth, ending the question of whether or not the drama would return, according to Reuters. Before the announcement, Medium was considered one of the network's "bubble shows"--programs with futures that were still undecided.
In the drama, Patricia Arquette plays as DuBois, a research medium who forgoes forensic tools in favor of her ability to speak to the deceased. The show debuted on January 3, 2005, and also stars Jake Weber and Miguel Sandoval. Medium carried decent ratings, averaging 8.5 million viewers this season.
DuBois won't be speaking with Oxygen's Tori & Dean: Inn Love anytime soon. Reuters also says the women's cable channel has given the reality show new life and picked it up for a second season. The show follows former Beverly Hills, 90210 actress Tori Spelling as she and her husband run a bed and breakfast, and it's Oxygen's second-highest-rated original program.
