Meet the Cast of Survivor: Blood vs. Water, Featuring Big Brother Winner Hayden Moss and Returning Castaways Rupert Boneham, Colton Cumbie, and More (PHOTOS)

Get up everybody and sing, because CBS has officially revealed the cast of Survivor: Blood vs. Water

The granddaddy reality show's first family edition (why else would Sister Sledge be on the playlist?) features an unusual and varied lineup: former winners and fan favorites, semi-famous "loved ones," a few returning players so unmemorable we had to Google them, and one nasty bigot we only wish we could forget.

The 10 pairs—couples, siblings, and parent-kid duos—include three(-ish) winners: Tina Wesson (Australia), Aras Baskauskas (Panama—Exile Island), and... drumroll please... Big Brother 12 champ Hayden Moss, a member of the CBS family who also happens to be dating One World's spectacularly ditzy Kat Edorsson.

Moss knows a thing or two about alliances: Nicknamed "The Animal," he cruised to Big Brother victory as part of the Bragade (sic—that's how these nimrods spelled it on their hand-crafted T-shirts) quartet.

Another returning winner—if you count his million-dollar fan-favorite paycheck—is Rupert "Every Day Is Talk Like a Pirate Day" Boneham, who's joined by his wife, Laura. Raise your hand if you're still occasionally treating your eyes with a cocktail of bleach and Visine after witnessing their never-ending, slobbery loved ones reunion makeout. (He had drool dripping from his beard!)

Season 27 also marks the return of the show's biggest loser: Colton Cumbie, the super-villain from One World who called one tribemate "ghetto trash," ridiculed another with dwarfism, and cited his black housekeeper as proof that he isn't racist.

The good news? Not a single member of the Hantz family is represented this go-round. That's saying something, considering how many of them litter the reality TV landscape these days.

Survivor: Blood vs. Water premieres Wednesday, September 18 at 8pm on CBS. In the meantime, check out our photo gallery of the cast, including our first impressions of each pair, each player's vital stats, and more!

It would be interesting to see how russel would handle branod though as this would be a team challenge, i would guess? ... with his brains and devilish ideas, and manipulations he could just well bring brandon to the dark side full force.

And here I was hoping that Colton had already long since been run over by a Mac Truck. Darn. "One World" was the only season I tuned out in all the Survivors, not so much because of Colton, who is over Evil Dick* of Big Brother, the single biggest POS contestant on a reality show I watched. Hopefully they boot him quickly don't know if I can stand listening to him and his vile comments. Maybe he'll get another GI tract infection of some sort and die enroute to the hospital. Rest of the cast is OK, I guess Rupert gets his Rob Marianoesque 4th crack at winning, Like the guy but hopefully he's toned down his act.

*Credit ED, winner of Big Brother 8 and his evil spawn, with turning me off that show for good. I still love Survivor but I can't believe I ever watched Big Brother. Terrible show.

Oh yeah, why did I tune out of One World? Worst Survivor ever, hands down and the Men's team? Dumbest box of rocks ever collected on one site. Seriously who gives up team immunity? Pretty obvious half way through Kim was going to win and I didn't need to waste the time seeing the lead in to that. Did enjoy the Colton appendicitis though, an all-time Survivor highlight.

I'm glad Colton got another go.
They should have had his black maid as his partner. :)
He is a complete pr*ck, but they are fun to watch.
Go Rupert.

And there are NEW rules --

this season will be comprised of 39-and-a-half days, kicking off with "Day Zero," where 10 pairs of loved ones will be sent out to different locations at sunset. "The whole idea was to try and get them thinking and maybe believing that they would play as a pair,”

The loved ones will then be split into two tribes, with returning players on Galang and their heretofore believed-to-be partner on Tadhana.

Redemption Island will return after three seasons, this time revolving around a three-person contest in which the last-place finisher is sent home.

Contestants will be permitted to swap places with their loved ones in these duels.

Sounds like they've rigged RI to ensure that a big player like Russell doesn't get booted out the first challenge. LOL

Given Russell flamed out fast with his reality show disaster on A&E, Brandon's meltdown on the last Survivor and the third Hantz getting booted by producers from BB house, I think the Hantz name is persona non grata with reality show producers in general. As for this cast, looks to be a mix of young and old with huge egos...the fun will be in how ambitious some are with regards to their respective loved ones.

Russell had his own reality show? Glad I missed it, judging by what you write there wasn't much to miss. Agree, about time CBS wised up and parted ways with the Hantz family. Them folks is toxic!

Yep, Russell had his own show...a house "fix up and flip" show he starred in with another Hantz brother. Even by the low levels reality shows can hit, it was truly wretched.

The only returners I like are Kat, Candice and Rupert. I couldn't stand Colton and I hardly remember Laura and Monica.

I honestly hope that the new cast votes Colton idiot out first, if they know what's good for them. They better not believe him if he says 'oh i'm a changed man, I said stupid things i wish i could take back' blah blah blah. I don't have a problem with him because he's gay. I have a problem with him because he is an ignorant, racist bully who doesn't deserve to be here. I hope his fiancee will see his true colors too and dump his @ss on the show if he knows what's good for him! Colton isn't a survivor 'villian'. He's just a bully. There's a big difference.

No Russell Hantz:/
Sad.
Hopefully Colton will stir things up.

The cast is pretty much exactly what Survivor-fanatics have been predicting since the end of last season. At least no Hantzes! When Survivor players come back, they tend to fall into 2 categories: 1) learned from their mistakes, which I'm hoping Colton falls in, or 2) the exact same person they were the last time they played Survivor. We shall see.
