Megan Mullally talk show syndication expands

The new syndicated TV talk show hosted by Will & Grace veteran Megan Mullally is ready to debut September 18 in 92 percent of the country, including all 20 top markets, distributor NBC Universal said.

The latest stations to clear the hourlong weekday show include KOIN-TV in Portland, Oregon, KSTU-TV in Salt Lake City, and WSTM-TV in Syracuse.

The Megan Mullally Show, starring the actress best known as the boozy, tart-tongued Karen Walker on NBC's long-running comedy Will & Grace, will feature a mix of celebrities, real people, music, and comedy.

Good for Megan, now even MORE of the country won't watch her show.
Unless she's going to do the show AS Karen Walker and have Sean, Debra & Eric come by on a weekly basis and reenact scenes from Will & Grace, her show won't last the whole season.

Well, the promos I've seen featuring both Megan and "Karen" are entertaining enough! I'm just wondering WHEN her show is going to be scheduled in New York [WNBC-TV], the "flagship station"...
12 noon? Would "MARTHA" Stewart have to move to 12pm(nyt), if Megan's show were scheduled at 11am? If so, she'd be directly opposite ABC's "THE VIEW". And how committed IS NBC/Universal to her daily talk show?

She's compensating for her shortcomings. She's compensating for her shortcomings.
