Dollhouse on FOX, Castle on ABC, Harper's Island on CBS. The only 3 with a decent sounding premise. Back to watching 24 again after a looooooooong wait! Naturally NOTHING BUT CRAP on NBC and CW. Fell asleep during episodes of LOST last time so I've completely given up on that show.

I'm very happy that they brought Flashpoint back!! I'm also glad that 24, Lost, & Kyle XY are back. I'll definitely try Lie To Me and Castle (HEY! Castle's got Nathan Fillion!). I'll give The Unususuals and Dollhouse a try. I'm trying Dollhouse because it's Joss Whedon, but I'm afraid it will be a litlle too dark for my tastes. Wow, nothing on NBC.

I can't wait for another season of Lost!! And Dollhouse should be great as well, Eliza Dushku is a great actress and I'm excited to see her in this new role. Plus, anything Joss Whedon makes turns out to be great.

24 & Flashpoint!!! Thanks CBS for being smart & bringing Flashpoint back! 'bout time Fox! - been too long without 24! As for the other networks - do they even have anything worth watching?!? Haven't seen anything yet. CBS, & Fox seem to be the only channels outside of Cable that have good programs (Stargate Atlantis, Sanctuary, the Closer)! I'm with the others - gag the reality nonsense already!!!

Who has the patience to watch any of these shows? 24 weeks, one episode at a time, generously chopped up by 8 hours worth of commercials...wait a few months, see if it gets good reviews, download the dvd, watch it over a weekend.

Biggest anticipated midseasoner for me is of course Medium---I've loved that show from the beginning. Since my Fridays are fairly open, I'm going to check out Dollhouse (Thank you CBS for helping me vacate this timeslot so I could see this premiere :D). If I end up watching any "reality" shows its going to be because someone else in the household watches it. I could care less otherwise (I truly detest reality shows for killing real shows) Only paying attention to the Lost premiere date cause another in the household is anticipating the show's return. Last but not least: I hope this is the last season of American Idol. I'm so sick of it that it makes my ears ring just to think about it.

Scrubs, coming back! Best show out of all these, yes. Is gonna be awesome because they just realized the show was doing pretty bad lately, now they decided to make it as the earlier seasons again. You gotta check it out, or don't watch TV at all!

    Jan 04, 2009
  • jeffsilver_25

There are a lot of good shows coming as midseason replacements but I am most excited about Scrubs. I cannot wait!

    Jan 04, 2009
  • davecornwall

Looks like 24 and Lost are the only 2 watchable shows. This confirms that the networks don't think or don't care that the viewers can't stand all of these cheap reality shows. Let them save their money and force me to give up on network TV (along with a vast majority of viewers) and switch to watching movies and good shows on cable. The only good reality show is the NFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol mike_10009, Lost is NOW answering all the questions it started in season1, just like a mystery novel that requires you to take it all in stride and as a reward they throw the answers LATER in your face when you least expect it.

    Jan 04, 2009
  • mike_10009

Honestly, though, the true suckfest? NBC.

    Jan 04, 2009
  • mike_10009

Cupid (I loved Veronica Mars, so give me a break), Harper's Island (so long as it ends after episode 13), DOLLHOUSSSSSSSSSSE, Damages (but if they don't start answering questions, I'm giving up just on it like the suckfest that "Lost" turned into without any story direction or continuity), Battlestar Galactica, and (finally!) Reaper.

I'm excited about Dollhouse.Lost is so boring, I don't understand why people watch it. :)

    Jan 02, 2009
  • Glornt

The only one I'm really excited about is Lost, but a few of the new shows might be interesting. Kings has the potential to be horrible -- I can't imagine network TV these days (especially the network that gave us garbage like Will & Grace, among others) doing a faithful presentation of any Biblical subject, although I'd like to be wrong about this. Scrubs jumped the shark a few seasons back, and BSG is overrated, Reaper is okay, all so-called "reality" shows (if they know the camera's on them, it's not reality, folks, and if they don't know, then it's an invasion of privacy) should be dumped, or at least moved over to one of the many worthless cable channels, for example, Lifetime or Bravo.

No mention of Monk of Burn Notice. They are great shows.

I love Battlestar. Can't wait for Reaper and Big Love. Not on the list, Saving Grace. It will be back in March.

I'm ready for the returns of Scrubs and Reaper. I can't wait to see Lie to Me, Hell's Kitchen and 13: Fear is Real.
