Mindfreak magic for A&E

A&E; Network has ordered a third season of its unscripted series Criss Angel Mindfreak and has green-lighted a new original real-life series featuring victims of crimes confronting their offenders.

The network made the announcements Thursday during the Television Critics Association summer press tour at the Ritz-Carlton Huntington Hotel. The new series, tentatively titled Confronting Justice, tells the story of a serious crime and its consequences as those involved prepare for a face-to-face meeting.

The show, from New Line Television in association with Cinemaria, is set to go into production soon. It previously was announced as a pilot order under the name Restorative Justice.
