Marg Helgenberger and Sally Field! Two of the best actors on TV for last season. Definitely snubbed...
Greys anatomy got snubbed for as usual, although i must admit the second half of the season wasnt as great, but i think Sandra Oh was really fantastic and should have been nominated for best supporting actress, On that note, Private Practice as had some phenomenal acting this season especially by Kadee Strickland, but nothing..... Agree that Modern Family shouldnt have all those nominations as much as I love it they're others....True blood pretty much got snubbed as did NCIS: which is amazing!!!
Modern Family does not have 4 worthy actors to be nominated. Where is Community in all this. Peter Dinklage better win.
Game of Thrones should OBVIOUSLY win because one its the best show EVER and two it has a phenomenal cast. Those who got snubbed, hmm... definitely always sunny and community with great a hilarious cast i.e. devito kaitlin Olson (chilly) and donald glover and freaking ken cheong. there is a gross excess of modern family which was great but has become mediocre. true blood and fringe needed a nom (even if GOT is the clear winner). Actors like Emilia Clarke, Jason Mamoa, and Stephen Moyer should have been recognized over the banal good wife and contrived big bang theory actors. Also where's ma storage wars and RuPaul at???My picks with what we got:Drama series: Game of Thrones Comedy series: GleeDrama actor: Michael C. Hall (GREAT actor)Drama actress: Marishka HargitayComedy actor: Louis C. K.Comedy actress: Laura LinneyDrama sup. Actor: Peter Dinklage woo!!!! Phenomenal actor and super sexy!Drama sup. Modern family may be an ok show, but not that good to get all those nominations. Your telling me that all the supporting cast needs a nomination over all supporting actors on every other show? that's just awful.
NPH got snubbed
there was only 7 episodes of the series Episodes - and Matt Leblanc still got a nomination ???? I don't get that - and if so - the 2 english persons beside him made a much better job at acting anyway. These nominations are a farce - mostly it's a repeat from last year anyway. Where is Fringe and Sons of Anarchy and Treme ?????
I know they threw a bone to GoT, but would it be beyond them to give us a SF category? Surely there are enough contenders in the genre. Fringe deserved some attention this year, for one.
Peter Dinklage absolutely has to win for his performance as Tyrion in Game of Thrones, he is amazing! I'm split between best tv series between Dexter and Game of Thrones as I love both but Michael C. Hall has to win for his performance in Dexter as always, he makes that show anyone else and it would suck greatly. As for the others Chris Colfer always
I'm rooting for all things Justified! Timothy Olyphant and Walton Goggins are deserving. Also Dexter. Where is anything Sons of Anarchy?
Seriously?? No Dani Pudi or any other mention of Community? I am happy for the Modern Family and Justified but couldnt they have acknowledged it? You expect some amazing shows to get overlooked like Psych as they arent that widely known by everyone but it seems that just the generic shows are being nominated opposed to the good ones!
Glad "The Good Wife" is well represented, that show is a delight. I'm also happy "Modern Family" is nominated but every actor being nominated does seem a bit obligatory. I wish "Smallville" could have received some love even though that was a long shot. Kathy Bates' nomination is a mystery to me but overall I'm not too mad at the noms. It'll be Interesting to see how it all pans out.
the fact that shows like Smallville dont even get considered with amazing actresses like Erica Durance whos incredible as Lois Lane and is one of the best written characters ever too just shows you what pathetic, BS bias these awards are with the same old farts voting for awful mad men every year and I mean look at how they pissed all over Lost last year now that was DISGUSTING. wouldnt even bother watching this pathetic waste of time!
modern family is well deserved!
Ok... lets start on a positive note: THANK GOD Friday Night Lights got attention. Now moving on to the snubs. It's disgusting that Ana Torov didn't get nominated. Not only did she play both Olivia's but she also played Bell. Her acting in that episode alone should of gotten her nominated. On a lighter note I do also think that Rupual's Drag Race was snubbed. It's the funniest and most cleaver Reality Competition Show on t.v. I find this years nominees to be so predictable and safe it's almost boring.
Anna Torov and Joh Noble and the show should have been nominated, amazing season, when Lost and 24 were that gripping they the noms, its a typical scyfi snubbing. Community and the weeds supporting actors deserved a nod. House was brilliant this year should have been nominated as a show, hugh laurie well deserved. Glad friday night lights and its leads finally got noms!! The modern family nods were compleatly over the top, they can not all get them, when there is such other quality out there, make a decision people! The good wife is an excellent show, so well done and written, but even though I like her, I don't think Julliana Margulies deserved the nod, she is a bit emotionless (maybe too much botox), she doesn't have that conveys a million things without words other brillant actors do like hugh laurrie, noah wley kyra segwick etc. Busy Phillips was good in Cougar Town, she deserved it more than Johnny Gelecki, his nom could have gone to a HIMYM cast member even. think its time for a new category too, separate drama from commedy/drama and have a new comedy-drama section for shows like house, glee, weeds, the closer that deserve their own section.moreless
No Fringe or Community? Wow, that's pretty crappy. The only category I'm interested in is Best Supporting Actor in a Drama. I hope it goes to Peter Dinklage or Walton Goggins... though I'm rooting for Mr. Dinklage. Also, I am the only one that thinks Glee(and its actors/actresses) shouldn't be nominated for anything? It's alright, but there are better shows, and I think it's not really deserving of the nominations...
Not even ONE for Community?! That's just cruel. And i still think Busy Phillips deserve at least a nod. Very happy abt Modern Family though, all very well-deserving.
wow johnny galecki gets a nod.
Lot of bad selections..
No Fringe? Anna Torv deserved a nomination after playing both Olivias last season..
I hope Chris Colfer winds supporting. Modern Family monopoly, anyone? Arg. AND WHERE'S COMMUNITY? DONALD GLOVER? AND PSYCH?! JAMES RODAY?! TIME OMUNDSON?! I love the Emmy's, but I do wish they would get their acts together and stop overlooking such excellence.
Community. Sure this season was worse than the last one, but no other American show comes close to being as clever.
wow no breaking bad or sons of anarchy for drama. I have to agree with u guys about community.. Carell better get the award. Rainn Wilson should be on that list with Chevy Chase, Donald Glover, and Pudi. Alison Brie should be on the females. I CANT STAND 30 ROCK.. I dont think anyone is funny in that.
Fringe? Anna Torv? John Noble? Joshua Jackson?
worst snubs to me for actors include Busy Phillips, Katey Sagal and NPH or Nick Offerman (did all 4 modern family actors really deserve supporting noms?) For shows, Sons of Anarchy, Justified (4 actor noms and no show?!) and Community are the glaring errors.
So excited for Kyle Chandler/Peter Dinklage/Connie Britton but really no Fringe? Why was Joshua Jackson even at the announcement then? I got all excited when I saw he was there and thought he or Anna Torv or John Noble might get recognized for their incredible work this year.
Wow I don't watch many of those shows.
Why isn't community up there
I don't understand why certain shows have like 2-3/5 nominees when they could allow another 2-3 shows worth of people be included.
No BONES. what a crap list. And noCommunity either.Or Criminal Minds.Or Fringe.
Really?? Glee? NO COMMUNITY??? no Dany Pudi? no Sean Bean? At least Downtown Abbey gets some recognition, the series as well as the actors are superb, but I would have thought the nomination should've been given to Maggie Smith instead and Peter Dinklage for GoT, amazing!Any ways, as usual the Emmy's for the most part will dissapoint....
I think Blue Bloods is constantly left out when talking quality tv. I'm pleased with the nominations of 30 Rock and Modern Family, by far the best comedies out there today and at the same time shocked that Glee is getting some nominations.
Chuck gets left out AGAIN
Also big congrats to Idris Elba being nominated twice for his work on the Big C and Luther, especially Luther which was amazing.
I'm ecstatic for Modern Family. It deserved every nomination it received, including the supporting actor category (yeah, I said it, and Ty Burrell for the win!). However, Jon Cryer and Chris Colfer being nominated is ridiculous!! They should've been replaced by Nick Offerman and Chris Pratt from Parks and Rec, the other best comedy on television (with MF, of course). However, Amy Poehler finally got recognized for her outstanding work on Parks and Rec. Well done!! Also, the best show on tv, Fringe, getting shut out?! Total injustice!! It doesn't need an Emmy to be the greatest to me, but still, no recognition at all?!!
Again, very disappointed that Fringe did not get even one nomination! Though, I'm not sure that Antiques Roadshow qualifies as "reality TV" I still hope it wins :)
Ridiculous list. Bones didn't get a single nomination, what a shame.
Kind of sad that Garett Dilahunt did not get nominated for Raising Hope in the best actor or supporting actor categories. He is one of the best parts of the show. Same goes for Cloris Leachman for best supporting actress. I also thought that Laurence Fishburne should have gotten as best actor nomination for CSI, especially after this seasons performance. I also thought that Peter Dinkilage should have gotten nominated way back when he was in Nip/Tuck, so I hope he wins now.
Best Drama Series - they have some stellar shows on the list, but Breaking Bad is the best drama series EVER.
Would someone please educate the Emmy's on John Noble??? It was a travesty he wasn't nominated.
The noms for Supporting Actor in a Comedy series makes me want to throw something into my TV set. Gut all the nominatons except Colfer and JTF. Add in Aziz Anzari, Nick Offerman, Dani Pudi or Donald Glover. I'll even take Ed Helms or NPH in there.
sup with emmys sucking modern family's genitals.. its not THAT fun. give ron swanson an emmy not those 4 modern guys :!
Who cares about the Emmys???Golden Globes rullez...Breaking Bad and Fringe not even nominated??? HAHAHAHA
Fringe doen't need an emmy to be awesome.
The Good Wife deserves ALL noms!
No fringe and No community? *** the emmys, I'm done with this piece of *** award ...
And once again no recognition for Fringe!!! Anna Torv and John Noble deserved the nomination but the Emmys always dismisses sci-fi shows!!!! I'm very Glad to see Game of Thrones and Peter Dinklage nominated.
