Sheree Murphy is open to starring in an
Aussie soap one day
The two actresses become good friends when working together in Emmerdale, and Emily has now recently returned to the Aussie soap to play bubbly Marilyn Fisher.
Sheree, who will soon be seen in Hollyoaks, revealed: "Marilyn's been in England and has a friend called Mitzi - they were looking to cast her and she said, 'You've got to cast my friend Sheree'."
She went on: "I think they are casting for her now but I've got a job and can't be coming over to Australia! She said the producer is keen to do something in the future."
Although she is busy concentrating on her role as Eva in Hollyoaks, she said she would be open to starring in an Australian soap role one day, as her footballer husband Harry Kewell hails from Down Under.
"I wouldn't say no because Harry's from Australia so it would make sense if we wanted to go out there for a bit. I like working so you never know."
