NBC Announces Fall Premiere Dates for Blindspot, This Is Us, and More

Grab your datebooks, puppy calendars, discarded junk mail, or whatever else you use to keep track of life's most important events, because NBC has announced premiere dates for its fall schedule.

The network won't debut new series immediately following the network's coverage of the Olympics in August and will instead kick things off Thursday, September 8 with the return of Sunday Night Football and a Super Bowl rematch. Reigning champs the Denver Broncos will take on the Carolina Panthers at 8:30pm/

Leading the network's scripted coverage will be the Season 2 premiere of Blindspot on Wednesday, September 14 at 10pm immediately following the finale of America's Got Talent. It will move to its 8pm timeslot the following week, where it will lead-in to Law & Order: SVU at 9pm and Chicago P.D. at 10pm.

Reality powerhouse The Voice, which will see the addition of new coaches Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus, will debut with a two-hour premiere Monday, September 19 at 8pm. The network's lone new fall comedy, The Good Place, starring Kristen Bell and Ted Danson, will follow with back-to-back episodes at 10pm before moving to Thursdays at 8:30pm behind Superstore.

The new buzzed about drama This Is Us will debut Tuesday, September 20 at 10 pm following The Voice before shifting to its normal 9pm slot beginning Tuesday, October 11. It will lead into Season 5 of Chicago Fire at 10pm.

Meanwhile, Eric Kripke's new time-travel drama Timeless will make its debut Monday, October 3 at 10pm, and reliable performers Chicago Med and The Blacklist will return Thursday, September 22 at 9pm and 10pm, respectively.

I wish they would put all the Chicago shows on the same night, just like CBS should do w/ the NCIS shows. That way when they do their 3 episode crossovers it would be like watching a movie.

it's amazing how few NBC shows I watch anymore. superstore ...and blacklist ...kinda. I'm probably more interested in the blacklist spinoff at this point as tom was one of only two characters I found compelling on the show but the spin-off will also presumably have edi gathegi to boot.

I might tune up with the first episode of the Blindspot new season and see if they made some reboot or something, cause it wasn't good. Rest, nothing.

I am a die hard fan of all the CW shows but i think the Chicago shows on NBC are also very good, i love Fire, PD, i still have to see Chicago Med and i have high hopes fot the Chicago Justice. My only problem is having the time to watch all, both CW and NBChicago :)
