NBC Announces Premiere Dates for Heroes Reborn, Blindspot, and Everything Else

NBC has joined ABC and CBS in announcing the premiere dates for its 2015-2016 fall season. And as much as I'd like some sort of hook to get you really excited for this story, there's really just a bunch of dates and show titles here. But at least we can finally find out when Heroes Reborn debuts, right? RIGHT?

Well I guess if there's an odd aspect to NBC's decision-making, it was to launch its fall season in earnest with the variety show Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris, a risky show riskily bringing back a risky format. It's a risk! And it premieres Tuesday, September 15 at 10pm after the season finale of America's Got Talent. But that's it for Week 1. NBC's fall is only Best Time Ever for a whole week.

After that, it's business as usual with NBC joining ABC and CBS by really kicking off its fall starting Monday, September 21, with The Voice and new series Blindspot (a.k.a. The Girl with the Crime-Clue Tattoos). The other highlight (and that's definitely a relative term here) on the schedule is the debut of Heroes Reborn, which gives the franchise another crack on Thursday, September 24 at 8pm.

Here's what it looks like:

just Heroes, Undateable, and Grimm... I'll give Blindspot a shot but I'm expecting it to be crap like most of what NBC churns out these days.

Outside of SNF, I see nothing that I care to watch on NBC's fall schedule. So I guess there's one network I won't be watching.

Hannibal!! the only other 2 shows I watch are Grimm and Blacklist. NBC's line up is pretty sucky,,,,They tend to get rid of the good stuff.

I don't think best time ever is such a risk. NPH showed he's still got the goods with his captivating and memorable scene from A Million Ways to Die in the West.

I keep forgetting about Heroes Reborn, lol. The original show was a bit of a guilty pleasure for me, so I'll be checking that out. And I do enjoy Grimm, so I'm looking forward to seeing the next season. Though neither of those shows make up for the loss of Hannibal. :(

Why so long for Grimm!! Damn that late October premiere date. Like everyone else i'll be sucked into the Heroes Reborn premiere to see some old fave's return and bring back some nostalgia for the once-great original show. Also can't wait to catch up with Red and Liz in the Blacklist.

I hope every show bombs - and NBC become the biggest laughing stock in all of the 4 major networks

Plus they bring back Heroes for no reason yet cancel something that actually had heart

Fuck you NBC

"Plus they bring back Heroes for no reason yet cancel something that actually had heart"

Specifically, a marinated and grilled heart a la sauce tartare.

Anyone know if Jaimie Alexander has actual paint on her skin for the tats? Or, is it some kind of body suit? It almost looks like she's wearing nylons on her whole body and the tats are on the nylons.

I'd hate to be her or the makeup artists if they have to put that on her every episode, though I guess most scenes will have her mostly clothed.

But, does anyone know?

Blindspot sounds like a mix of Prison Break and the Black List, both of which were better than this new show looks.

I'm not seeing the prison break connection (I guess other than the tats), but yeah, Black List.

But, interested in seeing how it does. I like the actor from 300/Strike Back and I like Jaime. The idea that she has to rediscover herself and her skills is a bit overused, but could be good if handled well.

In Prison Break the tats have meaning... they are the 'blueprint' for the escape.

Right. But, he had those put on, himself, and knew what they were, right? And, didn't the escape happen fairly early on and then they were on the run? (I stopped watching after the first couple of eps.)

It should be "BEST TIME EVER WITH NEIL PATRICK HARRIS" :)

If people are confused. Sindregud is stating, it should all be capitalized because it's a brand new show NOT a returning one. All the other new shows are all capitalized, so you missed one.
