When I saw "silly" I was expecting the invisible jet. Now I'm not sure what exactly makes it silly to the writer - the presence of David E. Kelley or the *absence* of an invisible jet. There's some strong bias behind the writing, I'm just not sure why it's there.

Katie McGrath, the British actress playing Lady Morgana in the show Merlin from the BBC, which will be in its fourth season would be a great cast as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman. In many scenes of the Merlin show, she shows an incredible likeness to Lynda Carter.
It's not a silly reboot, you've not seen the product. When the product is shown, judge it then. In the meantime, this article is under "NEWS BRIEF" and it would be nice if it was actually news we read and not biased opinion from the writers. Now as for us, the subscribers to this website, fine, any of you thinking it is silly, that is your opinion, voice it, we can agree to disagree. I won't force you to see things my way. But, I would expect someone who delivers the news to us, to deliver this news without judgement, just facts. THE FACTS are, we don't know if this will be great or bad. It's based on a superhero comic character, it's fictional. Just like Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, etc. That would make it silly on its own. But some of these franchises are quite popular nevertheless. All I'm saying is, Kelley's made some nice products, he may yet create a nice show, or not, but, the responsibility of the one who wrote this article, would be to keep his opinions to himself and just deliver the news. The rest of us, we can believe in what we want, I for one, will wait to see the show and then decide for myself, if it's silly or not. In the Wonder Woman movie, she does become a regular woman as she lives with Steve in the US. The plot isn't all that different from the comics/cartoons at all. I just want them to create a faithful adaptation. Diana has some of the most powerful abilities and along w/ her enchanted weapons she is nearly unstoppable. I want to see that reflected in the TV show.

What a stupid premise for Wonder Woman! David E. Kelley could have done a great job if he kept her as an ambassador. His early seasons of The Practice were great. I am not looking forward to "Ally McWonder Woman."

Lynda Carter was beautiful to look at as Wonder Woman , but that's it. The show was boring as hell. I can't imagine the remake will be any better especially with today's horrible actresses/writers.
In all this noise how about a moment of silence for the loss of a great human being Jack Lalanne? Grew up watching him as a child, wish I had stuck with it. Can't believe he didn't live to 100+. FYI, he also invented the weight machines you see in most gyms but he purposely didn't patent them. There was a man who lived a rich life and I can honestly say, though he was 96, he still died too young.

I guess TV.COM has a hard time finding good writing staff, so you got the job. If I was the editor, you would be fired. I don't know how good or bad Wonder Woman's remake will be. All I know is David E. Kelley is involved in the project as in charge of the reboot. Given he's actually penned a few very successful shows. (Oh. Mr. Surette, have YOU ever scripted a successful show by the way? Probably not, but prove us the contrary.)So, I will reserve judgement of this reboot when I see it. It's unfair to be hard on Wonder Woman at this point. You're judging it by the original series. Handled properly it could be more like Smallville. At this point there's just no way to know how it will be.
