Though it may seem like Hollywood's rail-thin celebrities never eat, the truth is that they are known to nibble from time to time. Video proof of this will be the focus of the new NBC show Celebrity Come Dine With Me.
The program, according to The Hollywood Reporter, will see tube-friendly stars hosting dinner parties with their Hollywood friends. At the end of each episode, the gathering will be judged on three factors: presentation, food, and entertainment value. The winner will donate the cash prize to his/her favorite charity.
The foodie foray is based on the overseas program Come Dine With Me, which uses the concept without famous eaters (though some have mixed in a celebrity element). No names have been announced for the US version yet.
Comedy Central has greenlighted a pilot of Michael and Michael Have Issues, a sketch comedy/sitcom show featuring The State and Stella alumni Michael Showalter and Michael Ian Black.
Michael will see the two Mikes performing a show within the show, with Josh Pais (Law & Order) joining the cast as a faux producer.

Dinner for five (with five?) was a good celeb dining show.
Boring.
Maybe if the Michaels (Showalter and Ian Black) threw a dinner party, I would watch. That would make for good TV.
"Comedy Central has greenlighted a pilot of Michael and Michael Have Issues, a sketch comedy/sitcom show featuring The State and Stella alumni Michael Showalter and Michael Ian Black." Sounds good to me!
UK Come Dine with me has set the bar real high in my opinion. Americas got talent and American idol aren't as good as the original UK versions so maybe this show can pass the bar.
I'm sure we were all thinking, "I'm not a celebrity, but if only I knew how/what they ate..." Michael and Michael have issues... I'm guessing it lasts 1 season, like Stella.
They would probably have the event catered and just host it anyway. Even if they did cook, I still wouldn't watch it.
This sounds soooooooo stupid. Seriously....who would watch this??
Are they really cooking themselves?
stupid
Whatever.
pointless
First ABC with the Maid in Manhattan idea and now NBC with this bad idea. I bet you NBC wishes it still were in the 90's when it had Seinfeld, ER, Cheers, Cosby Show, and Frasier. Now it's just a joke network.
this sounds kind of stupid
i thought reality tv sucked before
Celeb dinner parties? Blah!
sounds good lol
