NBC Renews Parks and Recreation for Season 6

This isn't a big surprise, but it's a welcome one anyway! NBC has ordered a sixth season of Parks and Recreation, according to the internet and this guy:

With 30 Rock over and The Office ending next week, NBC had little choice but to renew Parks and Recreation, lest the network be without any established returning comedies next season. The news comes on the heels of orders for five new series—two comedies and three dramas. Now the question is, what will NBC do with its Thursdays, and will Parks and Recreation step up as the elder statesman?

There's really nothing more to say about the news that can't be summed up with this:

After a slightly shaky start, Parks & Rec has done nothing but step it up - the best network sitcom out there by a mile.

Very glad about this. Could you even imagine being teased with a Swanson Baby and then never get to see it. The mother of all cliffhangers.

Rejoice! The writing was on the wall but it's always nice to have things set in stone.

Obvious. Even NBC isn't stupid enough to cancel this show.

Haha. You never really know with NBC. It's like, sprinkle a little stupid here, and some over there, and then try to change Up All Night to multi-camera (yes, I had to mention Up All Night)

Woohoo! Glad they didn't Britta this decision! After the mass canning today, are there any comedies left on NBC besides Parks and Rec (and maybe Community)?
