NBC isn't supposed to officially let everyone know what shows are coming back next season until next week, but just to show that they mean business, they let one slip today: Celebrity Apprentice!
Okay so that wasn't that exciting, but it's a start. The next edition of Celebrity Apprentice--the third star-studded version and ninth overall--will return next spring, the network confirmed today.
"The Apprentice and Celebrity Apprentice have been an amazing adventure for me and, obviously, a very popular show with the public," said executive producer Donald Trump. "Its Emmy nominations and great success have translated into a wonderful experience. Working with Mark Burnett has been terrific, and I am greatly honored that NBC has renewed us for yet another season, our ninth."
The show currently airs on Sunday nights and is one of NBC's top shows, averaging a 3.5 rating among the 18-49 demographic.

The only one I ever watch - there is at least SOME brain power required of the contestants - so I guess it's good news. Now for god's sake NB tell us you're renewing Chuck and stop pi$$ing about.
This NBC keeps and Chuck is in danger????? What bobbleheads make these decisions?
They should just keep doing the celebrity editions. That way they won't make new faux celebrities. Just pump up the ones that we already have.
Who watches this garbage?
Junk!
Considering it is one of NBC's top rated shows says a lot bout the state of NBC at present...
Who cares? I can't stand this reality gameshow dribble.
Nice! I like The Apprentice. It is a good reality show. One of the best.
