... Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte is doing what all Olympic athletes do after their four years of hard work are over: fielding calls for reality shows! In addition to rumors that he might make a turn on Dancing With the Stars, his agent says two reality shows have been pitched to him so that he can stay in the douchebag spotlight. [THR]

... NBC has purchased the project Pariah from Kelsey Grammer's Gramnet Productions. The drama is a police procedural featuring a man who takes over a San Diego police task force and uses Freakonomics-style methods—unorthodox procedures inspired by the book of the same name—to reduce crime. ... ABC's Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 is taking this actors-playing-themselves thing to the maxxx. The comedy recently hired Busy Philipps to play herself, and has now recruited Saved By the Bell's (or Franklin or Bash, not sure which) Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Malcolm in the Middle's Frankie Muniz to play themselves in a Season 2 episode. ... 24's Shohreh Aghdashloo (she played Dina Araz) has signed up for Fox's upcoming The Mob Doctor, the gangster medical drama starring Jordana Spiro as a surgeon who moonlights for the mafia. In a recurring role, Aghdashloo will play a... doctor! [EW]

... Jay Mohr has landed a paycheck on the TV Land pilot Brothers-In-Law. He'll play a man who is forced to hang out with the husband of his girlfriend's sister, and wouldn't you know it, they are like totally different. What a truly odd couple! [Deadline Hollywood]

... Funny lady Rachael Harris (The Hangover) will guest-star on funny TV show Happy Endings. She'll play a real estate agent who looks for a house for Alex and Dave. How has Harris not been on this show already? [TV Line]

... Fox's Touch has booked a Lost actor! And that actor is... Said Taghmaoui! In Lost, he played Caesar, who, uhhhh... was very integral to Season 6 because he... ummm... what did he do again? Anyway, look for him in the miraculously ordered second season of Touch this fall. [THR]
