News Briefs: The Kid from Two And a Half Men Thinks His Show Sucks

... Angus T. Jones, the lucky kid who fell into a pile of money when he was cast as the half-man in Two And a Half Men, was captured on video saying that his show is "filth" and generally the worst thing in the world and possibly dangerous to your mental well-being. In a video interview with the religious something-or-other (media outlet? Evangelical viral video crew?) Forerunner Chronicles, Jones said, "If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching Two and a Half Men. I'm on Two and a Half Men, and I don't want to be on it. Please stop watching it and filling your head with filth." Jones reportedly earns more than a third of a million dollars per episode of Two and a Half Men, so he's lining his pockets with a lot of filth. Obligatory Charlie Sheen reference goes here. Originally due to air next summer, you can now expect the third season of the hit series to run in late 2013 in the U.K. and even later 2013 or maybe early 2014 in the United States. Cheerio, guv'nah! [EW]

... Singer Beyonce (ask your kids) will direct a feature-length HBO documentary about singer Beyonce's life. I'm sure we'll get a really authentic look at her life. [Deadline Hollywood]

... Lifetime's much ballyhooed biopic Liz & Dick, starring Lindsay Lohan and Grant Bowler as Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, underperformed on Sunday with just 3.5 million viewers. Previous lifetime gems like that one about Drew Peterson drew around 6 million viewers. I preferred that other Lindsay Lohan video I saw called Lindz & Dicks, the biopic of Lindsay Lohan and yeah I'm sure 10 million people have already made that joke already. [TV Guide]

... Girl Meets World, Disney's update on the classic Boy Meets World, has grabbed its two big stars for its pilot, IndianaMom! Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel have signed on to reprise their roles as Cory and Topanga and will be parents to the new star of the show, daughter Riley. [TV Line]

... Wyatt Cenac is leaving The Daily Show, where he's served as a correspondent. His last episode will be December 13. [Vulture]

... Kimberly Williams-Paisley has been promoted from guest-star to "almost regular with a chance to be a full-blown regular "on ABC's Nashville. Williams-Paisley plays Peggy Samper, the "other woman" in Rayna and Teddy's relationship. [Deadline Hollywood]

... Cee Lo Green will be stopping by FX's Anger Management to play a version of himself, so now you have two one zero reasons to watch Anger Mangement. Obligatory Charlie Sheen reference goes here. [TV Line]
