News Briefs: TNT or Lifetime Might Rescue Unforgettable

UNCANCELLABLE NEWS

... The CBS procedural Unforgettable, starring pouty-lipped sweater-stuffer Poppy Montgomery (hubba hubba) as a detective who remembers everything (except the details of her sister's death, for some reason), was killed off by CBS and won't be back for Season 2. On CBS, at least! Both TNT and Lifetime are in discussions to save the show from cancellation, and when you think about it, it really belonged on one of those two networks in the first place. The series would be a good gamble for either: Unforgettable averaged 12 million viewers and a 2.5 rating in the key 18-49 demo. NBC and ABC would kill for those numbers. [Deadline Hollywood]
