Nicole Richie is used to living her life in
public, but she draws the line at her wedding
preparations. When Fox president Peter Ligouri
hinted the fourth season of The Simple Life
might focus on the impending nuptials of Nicole
and fellow Life-r Paris Hilton, who are
both engaged to be married, Richie told
People magazine she would not agree to that.
Richie, who is engaged to DJ Adam Goldstein, said she enjoys her reality show because it is not actually about her own real life. "I would never put my own marriage plans on television," she said. "I'm not open to anything like that."
Nicole and costar Hilton, who is engaged to shipping heir Paris Latsis, have been in a feud for several months. Neither one has stated publicly what the feud is about, although rumor has it that Nicole showed Paris' infamous sex tape to a group of friends at a party. The feud threatened to derail The Simple Life until Fox said both were still under contract so they would have to make nice. Fans speculate that on the upcoming season, the two might have their scenes filmed separately.
With these two, life is never Simple!

The Simple Life is a great show! Glad to hear that a fourth season is on the way!
I don't care if she marries a donkey; get this lousy turd-show off the air! There are better reality shows to air in its place, Contender anyone? I'd rather see people that NEED one million dollars fight and EARN it rather then a couple of lifeless daddy's girls who are ***less lay-abouts waste their parents' cash and our time. They really need to put these two on the Contender in a ring and let them pound the plastic out of their fake selves and give a million dollars to charity.

oh i think they need to get over there little fued life to short to hold stupid grudges and if they don't want to do the simple life fox should just give them the rest of their money and get on plus freakly i think there running out of ideas the 1st season was the best and i think if there going to do a 4th seasom they ought do a recap of the farm in which they stayed in Arkansas it was pretty funny watching the girls act stupid and skipping all their responsiblites so as i write this note lets just get on with our lives and let the simple life live on DVDS or at least go one more season!

My oh my, hasn't this show gone on long enough. I am surprised to hear of four seasons and now the stars are a bitter odds with each other. Oh well, life goes on.
